Upgrade Point Allocation
*Don't click the spoiler if you haven't watched the last video. It is a genuine spoiler for once
Spoiler Bauer 1 (race win)
Douglas 1 (consistent performances in January)
Juurikas 1 (points jersey + 2 stage wins)
If you three could get back to me as quick as you can with what stat you want to upgrade, it would be very helpful. |

Well, unfortunately for you, Ntanga is one of the few riders who will not take part in either Besseges, Qatar or Mallorca. I'm sorry . But he's chilling on the beach in Cape Town at the moment. |

Oh, that is a shame. What's his first race then?
But allright, chilling in Cape Town is okay as well

Some good results in NZ and France.
It might be a good idea to show the rider schedule at the beginning of each month, so everyone knows when their rider will race. (not sure how far you planned ahead though. ) |

Just a wee bit too late in New Zealand, but great win for Bauer in the race |

I know. I want Bennett to finally start racing, but I doubt it will be in France or Qatar |

@Jesley, Ntanga will briefly pop over to Europe for Haut Var before returning for his home race. He's only doing the race in France to try and find a bit of rhythm before his big race in SA.
@mvhoogdalem, I will show you the February schedule in the next video.
@bennettWPS, thanks
It's funny how the three of you who commented are three who haven't raced yet, and won't race for some time!
Fischer will start in South Africa and Bennett is the last of our riders to start his season in Taiwan in early March. Sorry about that guys but your peaks are later in the season and you're just not very fit yet. |

What about Kelly? Qatar would be a good warm-up for the spring classics or do you have different plans for him?

Again, some real nice racing
maybe a few hints:
-You could let your last one/two sprint train riders keep sprinting until the finish. That could get you some more top ten or even top 5 (van der velde in the last stage in New Zealand)
-You could have tried to let Bakker catch Juurikas back wheel. Sometimes he could win some bonus seconds this way and mortensen would have had no chance to outsprint juurikas
But, anyway the team performed well |

This team certainly has potential! Great win for Bauer at Marseille and top performances from Juurikas and Douglas Right on track for promotion!
And yeah, can't wait to see my rider too |

@Dippofix, Slightly different
But you'll see in the next video.
@knockout, I deliberately slowed Van Der Valde down so that he wouldn't prevent a time gap by being in the middle of the big gap. As it was, it didn't matter because apparently there was no gap!

@brewers90
Well, in this case, that would probably the best you could do
But, i meant more in general. I just noticed that you always did that before and sometimes it can cost you some good results |

Nice win against those ProTour Teams!
Surely Gibson has to race soon, right?

If a rider wins a stage, he will be automatically given a point straight away to improve in whichever attribute he chooses. If he wins a race, he will be given more. It's complicated but basically, if you do well, you'll improve.
As a sidenote, I also mentioned that team results count, so if you are nothing but a bottle carrier, you will still get points if the team leader is successful. Hence, a leadout man could actually improve more than the sprinter if he does his job properly
Are you still going with this precise system or are you handing out upgrade points just by feeling?

Well, it's an incredibly complicated system which depends on the level of the race (.HC, .1 etc), the CQ points and personal feeling. If a rider wins a .HC race, he will be given 2 points, if he wins a .1 race (like Bauer did), he gets 1 point. As for team mates, it's consistency that's important. However, as an example, Goudelock won the KoM in a 2.2 race, which isn't worth enough to give him a point, but he has more points than, for example, Saint Ledger, who hasn't done too much yet.
It's extremely complicated but there is a method. Don't worry, I'm not being biased towards any particular rider, not even myself!! |

It's allright, if you'd have said 'just on feeling', it would've been okay as well
