This is a great designed flat stage. Should be in the "How to make a flat stage exciting" book

A completely flat stage gives a borefest like yesterday which is only exciting for the last 3 km

It's usually the case with flat stages, unless they have cobbles or there's a lot of wind.

Great tactics from Cannondale to bring 20points to Sagan, even if he again finishes 2nd or 3rd,he will gain points on Cav and Greipel. Perfect team job.

Those who are expecting Impey to get dropped will be disappointed. It'll take a lot more than a few hills to get rid of him. He's excellent uphill to be a sprinter, after all.
In fact, it would surprise me if any of the main sprinters get dropped. Another Cav. vs. Greipel vs. Sagan vs. Kittel battle for me. All you need to do is look at how he rode at the Tour De Suisse for Cam Meyer. 100% certainty he isn't getting dropped.
Hoping Goss can do something....Once they lose the yellow jersey, should get much more support. No chance yesterday due to nobody really leading him out.
Think Greipel should be able to get over the climbs well enough to get another win. Dominant performance by Lotto yesterday.
He was dropped yesterday. Who? Goss finished 15th, and Impey has yellow. Not sure what you mean.
Yesterday? Yes, yesterday...
He was dropped on stage 5.
