Thanks, guys. Next project finished, after a few days of intensive work:
2013 Vuelta a Burgos

Very similar to 2012, which is why I initially started working with it. However, I didn't really like my old stages, so I remade everything except the 5th stage - which is exactly the same as last year - from scratch.
Also, don't get fooled by the fact that the first four stages are set as flat. In reality, only the last of those really suits the sprinters, as the others include strong uphill sprint ratios. The gameplay is much more realistic this way, I found when testing flat/hilly versions.
Here are the three first stages' uphill finishes, by the way:
I also thought I'd include a screen of Burgos and El Castillo. Turned out quite nicely, I think.

Pack with all the stages: https://www.mediafire.com/?z5b46zxsacj...zxsacjeibe

You say that the award will naturally go to Big, but what I see there proves you to be a great challenger. Brillant !

Hahah, we'll see in a few months, I guess

I prefer good gameplay. A ramp like that on such a short climb would annul any gaps that existed before reaching it.

Agree with you for most mountains/hills, but rather because the gameplay is simply bad on very steep sections insteaad of the fact that gaps will be over. If you do a hill who ups the slopes gradually, I think it's possible to keep gaps The problem you mentioned is very annoying, but in my experience it happens mainly when there is a too abrupt change of slope (like 0-15%); PCM's RVV says hi

Thanks, lluuiiggii.
What you say about the gradients is true, but the problem is that El Castillo is steepest at the bottom (I think over 10% for the first 100-200m), and then easy after that. The climb in my stage looks the same, only with lower gradient.

Here's something I've had planned for several years, but never actually got it made until now.
Memorial Xavier Tondó

As the name suggests, it's a one-day race honouring Xavier Tondó - held in his home town, Valls. The route takes on the short, but rather steep Coll de Lilla five times, plus Coll de les Llebres once. Very tough parcours.
(Ignore that it says world championships in the screen. I just tested it as a WC variant)

I like this idea making a memorial race for Xavier Tondó!
It looks like a demanding race.
Great work! =) |

Thanks, guys.
As you've probably noticed through the lack of activity here in the last couple of weeks, returning to school has cut my spare time short.
Anyway, lluuiiggii asked if I could convert my Amstel and Flèche variants with longer slopes and thus, better gameplay. So here they are!
Amstel Gold Race + La Flèche Wallonne
Couldn't resist tweaking some graphics as well, for example adding some wallhouses to the lower slopes of Cauberg, replacing manors and hostels.

Flèche is basically the same graphically, but the final climb is awesomely selective with PCM13's AI!

Nice job! Cauberg looks great with the wallhouses (at least the ones on the top, in the pic, haven't seen Valkenburg yet). Curious to play Fleche with the new AI
(and thanks )
