Hesjedal is going to take this race for sure now.
Hesjedal is far from sure to win this race. He has an advantage on the others, yes. But this was just a 8,1 km long TT, a lot more can happen in the coming stages. And we don't know yet which form Hesjedal has since he left the giro.
I was just kidding. I forgot the smiley.
But tbh, he might have a chance imo.

Yay for Cam. Probably would have been top 3 without the wind, but l think he will take the win nonetheless... |

Really? You think he would have taken the win nonetheless? So faster than Cancellara & Sagan? (And Kelderman )

I'll leave it up to Wogsrus to clear up what he actually meant, but "but I think he he will take the win nonetheless" can be used to say "despite the favourable events on the day he will be pleased with the win". On that note, compulsory Cam Meyer celebration!
Shame cycling is neglected by such large swathes of the media in Australia outside of SBS that Meyer's victory didn't even register in the local sports news bulletins I pointlessly watched. Only way thing for it, he shall have to win a stage in the Tour de France. If were any other local athlete in most other sports they would have got at least a small mention.

Looks like JTL is still immune to the marginal gains. Already dropped.
Kangert still looks good. I'd really like to see him finishing well today.
