It's strange that the intermediates seemed to hurt sprinters energy in Bretagnes but not so much here. Perhaps in Bretagnes the nature of the finishes with hills was as much the reason.
Privatbank in dream land now with those two straight wins. Unfortunate really that this race is so damn mountainous else the points jersey could be theirs!

Great second in the row for Poli and PrivatBank. It seems like our both Ukrainian teams combined created the most lead-outs this year so far in CT/PCT.

NOOOO! Poli
Oh well 7th and 8th GC with an incredible Mestre...
And I still have a Portugese sprinter here finishing 55th this stage inside of the time limit (76SP, 80ACC) Let's hope he can make it... And if not Gomenyuk climbs quite well... (74SP)

We're 3rd and 4th on GC, leading the young rider's standings comfortably with Alizadeh, second in points and borrowing the jersey with Jiriakov and we are still second in the teams and closed in on the lead of it slightly on the last stage so all in all an extremely strong showing from my team.
Especially when you consider we started with and still have only 5 riders here.
And wow Rohregger was strong to hold on for the win against Maritnez considering Martinez had the help of a teammate for a long time there.

A good stage for us, Rohregger only got 17 seconds, and I think he will get worse as the race goes on with Martinez's higher recvovery stat. A great show of dominance from us anyway.
Also good to see the back of Ghafari's rivals and we look good for the points jersey at the moment. Either Martinez or Ghafari could take it. |

This was a great stage. Mountain AI >>> Hill AI.
Kenya was very strong and Martinez had a train until the last kilometers. Still Rohregger was stronger. Nicely done.
Great report Pelli.

A great stage to watch!
Nikolai rode well alone. Shame the sprinters are out of it though.
GC is still very much alive for a lot of riders.

I soon realized that the sprinters were having a tough day, that increases greatly the chances for the likes of Ghafari and Gomenyuk.
Very interresting mountain stage indeed! I'm happy with my teams effort, but I realize we need to gain more minutes on the riders behind, to be able to survive top 10 in GC after the horrible long TT-stage |

Yay Rohregger! Really happy to grab a stage win here, but Martinez still has a significant lead in the GC. Rohregger will have to beat Martinez again, probably in both stages to have a shot with the overall. Gotta start somewhere though.
Belletti dropping out is pretty disappointing, considering he is a pretty decent climber for a sprinter

Everything has gone wrong for us after Rodas' crash. A real shame. We started off quite well with Lutsenko and I was ecstatic after the first mountain stage where Rodas managed a podium. Hopefully we can still get something else out of this tour...
Sauber, Kenya Air and some others are scoring some serious points here...

considering we are averaging less then 1 point per race day going into this race I'm pleased and relieved that it's turned into such a good points scorer for us so far.

Yet more fantastic exciting racing!
Loads of attacks and action all over the final climbs!
The GC is starting to settle out a bit, but its hardly over.
Colorado is consistent and up to 5th, yay. And Parra has a nice battle going on for 20th.

Much better stage for us. Shame Rodas lost out on the stage and the KoM, but atleast he's back up there.
Ihlenfeldt Awesome ride to put himself in the top 10 GC. Hope he stays there!

Awesome report you put up there Pelli, it was a great read for a neutral like me!
Landa did exceptionally well to hold on and win that stage, while the battle for the overall win is still open. Can't wait to see how it unfolds

Daniel would have had a chance in the final stage if he survived today, but Landa compensates that for Evian

Wow, congratulations to fellow PCT-team Evian, what a fantastic strong stage win by Landa!
Todays stage was undoubtedly our worst in this tour. Bakhin moves up to 24th in GC and 8th in youth is the only "highlight"
Very good report Pelizotti! |

That was one exciting stage. The final climb looked incredibly steep and created huge gaps. Congrats to Magna but didn't expect Martinez to lose almost two minutes.

Huge, huge day from Rohregger as he puts in a great ride to get 2nd and take a solid lead in the overall.
I worry like crazy about the next stage though, we have been whittled down to 5 after losing Hofer. Naibo and Schrangl have done great so far to pace Rohregger but I don't think they can hold off a bunch of attacks tomorrow, so Rohregger will have to produce another great day to hold on to the jersey; if he gets to the timetrial with the jersey though, it should be his to lose.
Fantastic reports so far Pelli, its been a great race to be a part of

Well that was a pile of crap. Hopfully Martinez can regain some time but Rohregger looks superior. Congrats to Firefly I guess |
