I'm a little disappointed with the outcome of this race, hoping to win more points. The top10 with Mehr-Wenige was clearly possible but the hills did not do enough differences to compensate the time trial. Still I'm very glad to see my team attack, especially Dennis ...
Congratulations felix_29 and thanks for the great reports Alakagom

Huge points for Rothaus. Hollister seem to win atleast one stage in every race they start.

We are pretty much best of the rest here, expected and hoped for more. Hopefully it will be enough in the end to avoid relegation. Reus, Veelers and co will have to start scoring points however.

Great reports, Alakagom. Unfortunately Geschke was only 3rd on the last. A 2nd might have given him the GC I guess.
Still an awesome race for me. |

Thnaks for great reports Alakagom, unfortunately you cant fix the broken AI of the game.
Our team continued executing silly tactics day by day, every day perfect lead-out by Popkov and Hoffman for our opponents, Rothaus should send us barrel of their finest lager.
Why only our team created lead-out, when it was obvious Hoffman cant sprint from 1.5km-800ms out and grab anything better than 3rd? Because of that, out two podiums are disappointing, as is 15th place of Popkov in GC. He was looking like one of the five strongest punchers in the race and because of stupid hilly finish in stage3, where game put Hoffman to the front and Popkov was far back behind half of Sram and Rothaus and lost time because of that. Grrrr
We gained much from this stupidity in South Africa and we lost now, this season will be full of frustration, combined with pleasant but silly surprises.Strange.

This - and all other hilly races I've seen so far - was ridiculous. There's zero splits and zero dropped riders, making the likes of Nolan Hoffman and Simon Geschke top favourites for hilly races.
8th was a horrible GC spot - but it turns out I should have been happy with that... |

Well. Geschke and Hoffman are completely different imo. While Hoffman is a pure sprinter, Geschke is still a more than solid hill rider.
Plus the fact that Thüringen never really was as hilly as South Africa. Only the 3rd stage was a hilly rated stage and there we saw some time gaps at least. All other hilly looking stages were rated flat and so it was no big surprise to see a puncheur/sprinter combination rider performing quite well.
I agree that the 3rd stage should have made bigger time gaps and there I expected riders like Sinkewitz to win with a gap. But not on any other stage. |

Yeah, I agree - I checked Gesckhe's stats after posting.
I guess I'm just disappointed to leave the race with 42 points after having been the top favourite + Thüringen was a top 5-goal.
Even so, the racing was awfully boring. Stage 5 had 7 categoried climbs, yet it ended up in a mass sprint. Uphill stage 3 did cause a minor split, but that happened during the sprint, not due to attacks.
I'm just worried since this is definitely not the first time I have seen such a behaviour in PCM12. It will be a good year for (strong) sprinters |

Good year for strong sprinters and imo awesome year for riders like Geschke, who are good both punchers and sprinters (i am glad i have lesser versions with Capecchi and Vitoria who can score some points).
PCM 12 hilly stages are tailor made for this type of riders and Roturn is in great position with two those beasts.
