Stage 9: Lourdes - Saint-Palais
Length: 192km
Type: Mountain
Profile:

Climbs:

Developer-"Blog"
With that stage the peleton leaves the pyrenees, but has to climb over some tough mountains before. Even the profile was classified as a mountain stage I saw none attack of a Contender. It was more of a breakaway-stage as I hope it would be. As you can see in this pictures Voeckler done a fantastic ride which brought him not only the stage win with over 12 minutes advantage, but rather the overall lead. So, I'm cool with that.

Stage 10: Noirmoutier-en-l'Île - Épine (L) ITT
Length: 56km
Type: Individual Timetrial
Profile:

Developer-"Blog":
Here's the first ITT. Expect it to be windy and probably wet. After the sunny first week a pleasant change. Nice asset to the stage is the Passage du Gois, a road which does come only by low water to sunlight. Fortunately we got the perfect situation, so the road is ridable. Besides that, very flat and long course.

Hey guys,
I'd took a look into some of my already made stages and made many improvements (landscape, single objects, slopes) to them. For now I concentrated mainly on the stages which are needed for the Historical DB's, meaning the 2006 and 2003 routes. But I will also improve the other stages little by little. Regarding my new TDF Variant I made serious progress but didn't had the time to keep you posted. There are just the flat stages and the last timetrial left. I will present them when I'm finished with the whole course.
Improved Stages:
Tour de France 2003, Stage 9

New Update:
Tour de France 2000, Stage 14
Draguignan - Briancon

Download: https://pcmdaily.c...ge_id=1102
- better and realistic mountain-slopes, added short descent on Izoard as well
- way moderate descents
- changes to the landscapes
- added the City of Guillestre on the foot to the Izoard
- added uphill finish in Briancon
- added spline descriptions to the 4 mountain classifications
Tour de France 2000, Stage 16
Courchevel - Morzine

Download: https://pcmdaily.c...ge_id=1103
- better and realistic mountain-slopes, moderate descents
- added some single objects, mostly chalets
- some changes to the landscapes
- now with spline descriptions of the 5 mountain classifications as well
- erased the mistakenly added uphill finish in Morzine (confounded it somehow with the uphill finish in stage 14, anyway, now it should be accurate) |

Nice job! One question: what exactly is 'moderate descents'?

moderate in the meaning of temperate, to be specific: Not this steep descent with -18% or lower anymore. But i haven't tested yet, I can just say this from what I've seen in the profile view in the editor.

New Update:
Tour de France 2000, Stage 12
Carpentras - Mont Ventoux

Download: https://pcmdaily.com/stagedb/stage.php...ge_id=1105
- corrected the course in terms of length of the stage. Its now a few kilometers longer
- better landscapes, namely some fields, pine forest on the foot to the Ventoux, stones on the top
- better slopes on the smaller mountains, Ventoux's still the same, because I saw no urgent reason to change something here.
- added spline descriptions
Tour de France 2000, Stage 15
Briancon - Courchevel

Download: https://pcmdaily.com/stagedb/stage.php...ge_id=1106
- even I improved it before I saw more things to do, so improved the slopes yet again.
- Galibier, Telegraphe and Col de la Madeleine aren't that steep anymore, more accurate now
- the descent from the Madeleine is now the almost realistic 3-step descent, but I saw no reason to make it 100% real. Its just a descent...
- All new climb to Courchevel
- Added alpine city on the finish as you can see in the spoiler-pictures
- Added the city of Saint-Jean de Maurienne
- minor improvements to the landscape
- added spline-descriptions
I updated now all mountain stages besides the Hautacam stage which was made by Pelizotti2. I don't plan to look into the flat stages, but if you think there is something I really have to improve just text me a PM with detailed informations. I hope you like the new changes.
