Okay, I'm getting a little frustrated at the moment. I'm currently working on the the next stage, which runs along the coast.
Since I've always hated adding water, I've never really experimented around with it properly. Therefore I'm not sure how I should do to get rid of these "cliffs" that appear, even though I'm adding it next to parts of land that are on sea level. I'd appreciate if anyone could give me some sort of tip.
Attached a picture of the problem.

Sometimes, when you move around 1 water point after all points are finished, you get this. Very annoying bug, obviously not fixed in PCM12. So you could try deleting all water points (try all at a time, by ctrl + clicking them, otherwise you might some weird terrain in the middle of it), and re-doing, and then not editing water points.

Sorry for the slow progress. The hard math in school eats a lot of my free time. So I've got limited time for stagemaking, but it works pretty well I think.
Time for easier terrain after several hard days. A full day along the east coast provides lots of beautiful terrain, but not much excitement. Pure sprint stage.

I had a feeling I forgot something!
Will be fixed before uploading the stages.

Next stage was planned as a hilly stage, but the game classed is as flat. The last two climbs are the same as in the stage from Forlì to Faenza in the 2009 Giro. Especially the last climb is quite hard. Perfect stage for a break, or a mass sprint from a reduced peloton.

It's a good thing though that PCM classifies it as flat.. if it was hilly there would be a lot of attacks from GC favorites, which wouldn't be much realistic if you ask me
Indeed, perfect stage for a breakaway. And just passed half of the Giro

You're probably right, luigi. The last climb is pretty far out after all.
It just felt a bit harder than it was, because there were several attacks from the top guys in the real Giro stage with these climbs.

Stage thirteen is the second individual time trial of the race, and the last flat one. Just a MTT left. The gaps are pretty large on this stage due to the length.

Made some changes to this stage, which was originally planned to be a basically all flat stage. Thought that another breakaway / possible GC stage would be more interesting, so I moved the finish line from Vercelli up in pan flat terrain down a bit south to Casteggio and the hills. A very fun stage.

A 10km climb @ 7% classified as Cat 2? Nice job!

It's quite early in the stage, and rather far out from the finish. So usually not ridden at a very hard pace. I agree that it's arguable whether it should have higher category or not though.
Thanks, btw!

The real mountains begin with this stage, as the riders travel up to the Aosta Valley for a mountain top finish. The stage is rather easy all the way to the foot of the final climb, but then dramatically changes into a very difficult story.
