There's a 2012 DB Luigi, if you don't know.
but not for the 2006 version, which I failed to explain that

So you played PCM 2006?
Man, I wouldn't be able to do that, if I compare the graphics etc... Still don't get it why you don't just buy PCM 2012. 15 euros and you got it...

That's great. They do even make DB's for games 6 years older... That's like making a 2018 DB for this game(When it's 2018 of course )

Well, for example PCM 2007 is twice a game than 2012 edition if i might say.

Just started an FDJ career. I've decided on the following plans for the GTs:
Giro: Casar GC/Mtn jersey, Bouhanni points
Tour: Pinot GC, Demare points
Vuelta: Casar Mtn, Hutarovich points
I'm really worried by the lack of depth in climbers and puncheurs. It seems that the best bet is to rely on your three sprinters and Pinot to score enough points to stop you from relegating before signing some stronger riders for the 2013 season, while also having your talents improve enough to be useful (guys like Elissonde and Jeanesson).

I'd probably send someone else to go for the KOM at the Vuelta. Maybe focus completely on sprints, with Rollin and Bonnet for support.
Casar and Fedrigo as support at the Tour would probably be great, and on days they aren't needed they can sneak in the breaks and grab KoM points if needed.
I love playing as FDJ though, because they have a very cool squad, and its fun to improve.
Just brainstorming obviously, you dont have to do this, its just my thoughts on it.
----
Dont know if it counts, but I just started a career in PCM 08 with CSC, using the PlusPackage and equipment add-on.
Cancellara had a great start to the year, top 5ing pretty much all the classics (E3, MSR, RvV, Roubaix) But he only won Roubaix.
In the Ardennes, Frank Schleck was my leader and did fairly average.
Now Im into the Giro and its looking like Frank will only be getting a Top 5, eventhought he is one of the best riders statistically, and is in great form and morale.
One thing thats a little annoying is that if a rider is depressed they perform absolutely terrible.
CAS has nearly finished outside of the timezone on a coupe hilly stages, because his morale is so low.
My plan for the rest of the year, is have Sastre, and the Schlecks at the Tour and then have Andy and Sastre for the Vuelta, with Frank preparing more for Lombardia and the Worlds.
Its definitely nice, and brings back a lot of great memories, as well as the ability to attack quite well. I also notice sprint trains work a lot better too. I kinda miss the Pre-PCM10 games.

Exactly. Although I've only played PCM 09 pre-10 (though I probably played it more than 10, 11 and 12 together), I feel like something changed in the gameplay in PCM 10 and with the new stages system, something that Cyanide still hasn't managed to "fix". Although I do prefer PCM 12 for sprint stages, the rest of them are probably funner in the older games (proably because they involve attacks).

I just played a stage where many of the favourites made attacks 50km into the stage, and there was a lead group of 30 riders, mostly favourites for most of the stage (it was very mountainous).
And I agree with you. Other than the solid riders model, I'd say the sprints are still better in the old games. I had Milram and Credit agricole form trains, as well as my own In PCM 12 I dont really notice more than 1 train.
Im finding it really enjoyable anyway. And PCM 12 is still fun.

Ok,
I started a career as a custom team (normal level) with a small budget. I started in the lowest division and got promoted to the Continental division in my first season. During the second season i didn't get any wildcards into any of the Tour events until the Vuelta.
So my first World Tour event, as soon as i got the entry i changed my fitness schedule to get my top 7 riders to peak fitness for this race.
Ok my squad - (Sorry if names are wrong as using original DB)
Rui Costa, Quintana, Meuritime, Poels, Pozzivivo, Thomas, Theron, Bayart and 1 other who i can't remember.
Basically, Poels won the GC by 2-3 minutes, in a field containing Contador, Valverde etc.
Do i need to progress to Hard level, or is it feasible that this squad "could" win this event. |

If you want realistic results, then yes, you should probably go to hard. Sure, Rui Costa, Quintana, Poels and Pozzovivo are a good squad but beating the top riders by 3 minutes? Rather not. Except if Poels developed that much in those 2 years that he has something like 81, 82 mountain himself now.
But after all, it's up to you if you like the way it is now, you should keep it.

Nah Poels Mountain is still around 77/78.
So i'll finish this season in Normal then more up to hard. So my first ever entry in the WT Division and i'm gonna play it on hard level..... Nice!

2nd season with the RaboTrain, and what a successful season it was !
200 Wins, only missed out on Liege and the Worlds that I would like to have gotten. This was on hard difficulty, I would play on extreme but then the TT's annoy me too much.
Not sure what to do next season, might try for the triple GT with Gesink, but then we'll probably miss out on Liege again

Wow. Shouldn't you put the difficulty up?
Or has your team developed really good? (i guess Kelderman did develop well...?)
