So try re-installing one of the older ones, but then you'll need to make two game installations if you want to have a working SE and play the game (by making a copy of the main PCM folder).

Hi!
I have a little problem with Stage Editor. I have the Tour of Romania stages from PCM 2011, and try to convert it to PCM 2012. To convert I have to set the region, but there isn't Romania in the list...
Questions: How can I add Romania? How can I change the region (after the export)? Is it important to give to correct region or not? Any solution ideas?
Thanks,

You might need to have a database installed that has Romania in it - since Romania isnt in the game by default. But Im not sure.
When I converted my Romania NC, I just went for the easy option and put the region as Moldova instead

The Stage Editor doesn't get the values/regions it shows from a DB, instead it's from the xml file "RegionCodes" in Main PCM folder/3D. So it depends on the DB you'll be using. If you'll be using the Off Release, then will you add Romania as a country? If yes edit the xml file to add the ID region there as well. If you'll use the PCMDaily DB, which already has Romania, then you should choose "Pakistan", which in the editor has the ID corresponding to Romania's ID in the Daily DB. You could also edit the xml and change "Pakistan" to "Romania" if you feel like doing it, but this won't change anything, only the name you see in the editor.

You'll need the .zcts file, the one used in the stage editor.
To edit the stage, you also need a bit of stage editor knowledge. There are several guides in this forum.

Only the person who created the stage normally has the .zcts file. You can ask that person if he's willing to either edit the stage for you or share the .zcts.

Did you add it to a savegame or the db?

In the middle of the season?
That usually causes problems. You shouldn't ever add something to a savegame unless it's offseason.

No. I mean that you should only edit things in your savegame in the offseason, in other words October 25th - December 31st.
It's unlikely that your race will work next season either. I'd delete it and then add it in the offseason.

It should work next season, but the ID of the stage is wrong.

The stage file that you have should be placed in Program Files/Cyanide/CM_stages. |
