He would never sign without his brother. At least he ever spoke like that, so i suppose he will follow him.
BMC will have insane TTT lineup with possibly riders like TVG, Phinney, Velits and others.
Peter Velits confirmed that Martin won't join BMC |

Watching the Tour proved that Cav, Greipel, Kittel and (to an extent) Sagan are a long way ahead of everyone else.
I'm still curious to see how the three young French sprinters (Bouhanni, Démare, Coquard) perform against those three or four you mentioned.
Coquard came second to Cav in Denmark, Démare hasn't sprinted against any of those this season (I think ?), Bouhanni started from too far at the first (was it the 2nd ?) Giro stage and did nothing during the rest of his Giro and his Tour.
Since Démare beat Greipel and a hanful of second tier sprinters in Hamburg last year, and Cavendish seems to have lost some speed, at least relatively, I'd say they should be rather close to Cav/Greipel/Kittle. Degenkolb belongs there too, I reckon.
I'd rate Coquard and Démare above Bouhanni, though. Potentially the future Cavendishes, those two. Démare could even be a strong classic rider! |

Coquard isn't a top-sprinter yet to me. He will, but not yet. He is fast though, but not thát close to the Top 3/4.

I agree, but I meant potentially. Démare and Coquard have more talent than Bouhanni, well that's my opinion |

Bouhanni has the pitbull mentality which is important to become a great sprinter.

Bouhanni could be a great leadout though, he's like a battering ram. Him and Soupe to lead out Demare would be great. |

Bouhanni is way too good and too young to be a leadout

Bouhanni being a leadout? That basically goes against his mentality as Spilak mentioned. As well as the fact he's too young for that, he could well become top rider instead of doing work for someone else to take the glory.
At Junior Worlds, he was supposed to leadout his leader, while in fact he disobyed and tried to work for himself at the end iirc etc.

Wanting to win is one thing, sneaking your leader is another though. You can be a cannibal, but you need team mentality... |

CQ Rankings launched it's transfer overview of 2014 season.
It has a great easy layout to follow, plus you can see all riders results straightaway.
Good link to keep in mind for the next months ahead in cycling

Nice job from CQ, good to know about that.
I am really surprised that Peter Velits will move without his brother, never saw it coming at all. But it is probably the time for it to happen. Martin is established great domestique and does not need brothers support anymore so much.
Peter will strengten the TTT of BMC and he can also be their GC rider for some races.

It's rather a case of Velits is no longer a possible future star so he can no longer demand they sign his brother if they want him.
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

True that. But still Martin is not bad rider for WT, he is a good domestique
