Arrogance was in your other posts though
Wrong, Schiltz simply isn't an arrogant charcter, and I have no interest in writing an arrogant chatacteter either! Feel free to PM me 'evidence' if you disagree, but it would be a waste of time.

Sylvain is slowly moving from 5th in every competition to 3rd.
Still a good race, I like how Vague commentated.

The Ronnie is pleased. Very pleased.

Yeah it was a really nice touch to bring Vague in as a co-commentator. It was a really nice report - of course the winner was predictable but behind the pack is certainly shuffling somewhat!

I think he should continue to first.
Update will come from Sylvain tomorrow.

Since I had no reaction for the Continental Jerseys, I decided to try and make them myself.
Tell me what you think. They can still change, but I'm pretty happy about them!
Africa
America
Eurasia
Oceania
Especially since I came from this originally:
I made some progress, I think.

Just wondering what the point of these is, as there are no pictures?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Point? There's no point. It's a game, there is no point at all here.
Not sure what the point of your post is, too...
It's a game, more so a role-playing game. So I think it's important we know what jersey everyone'll be fighting for and what jersey the champions will be wearing. Maybe it doesn't have a point, but it's a role-playing game and I think it's important in that game. So I guess that's the point. |

Is there anyone apart from Power from the Americas?

No, not really
So that's why I started making that ass-ugly shirt in the spoiler 4 posts above, but then I decided I can't do that to Power
Maybe Power will have to race the amateurs or something, not sure yet. Can't just give him that jersey now can I

Might whip up a personalised jersey at some point then, something a Texan would be proud to wear

I love the design but hate the color of the Oceania one, Africa gets the best one.

Well, the fact that Power is the only one of the entire continent is a weak point in the Continental Championships, so I'm still thinking about a way to "fix" that. Hope to come up with something. |

Have to admit I'm a little bit disappointed with the (lack of) activity and involvement lately. I'm trying to make the game interesting with doing extra stuff besides the races (like the news updates about races, teams, nation teams for WC, Continental jerseys) but the response is mostly non-existing. (or worse, partly negative)
Anyway, that aside, I'm updating the rules with one additional rule (not to worry, no big one):
Inactive riders can be "taken over" partly by the game master (me). What does that mean, practically? Well, I won't be posting role-playing posts or whatever, but there are riders that I like but the members here don't seem to interested, so I'll be taking matters into my own hands for those riders. That means:
I can choose to enter or skip races for them
I choose their development
I can talk about quotes of them or their history in race reports or other posts.
This only happens with inactive riders. So nothing to worry for you active players out there! Faizullah might be an example. If the member who made him (forgot who) doesn't pick up on him and his role-playing, I'll be taking him myself, because I liked his last race and it would be a shame to let him go into retirement or whatever because the user is inactive.

Try not to get disheartened Ian. There is a fair amount going on right now in the story game arena. I don't think things have been that inactive - I would agree with taking some charge of a few of the riders.
The jerseys to me are a bit meh - not quite sure how in this realm the continental champs figure. I mean as you point out there is very few realistic options but to give Power the Americas jersey.
Always a danger with these things as well going with first come first serve as an opener. You tend to get a load of spammers - who then drift away.
I think the race calender is full enough - I love the reports to those - hope you are enjoying writing them.
