Get ready to see some delicious Hungarian food:
Spoiler For soups: Babgulyás (= goulash with beans, but you can't really translate it, it's a great combination of bean and beef)
For main courses: Pörkölt (=stew) with nokedli (those are the small noodles), this can be made out of chicken, pork or beef (but beef works best, honestly)
And for sweets I will go with the one, that has the most ridicolous name if translated: Madártej (which actually means Birdmilk ). It's obviously not the milk of a bird, but instead milk with vanilla and egg-white, and it's really delicious .

I forgot "sweets"! It's not all boiled, unseasoned fish, you know.
I give you the most Norwegian thing in the world, the nomer one thing you will be served at every sko lodge, every charity auction, ever this and that...
The waffle!
And of course my personal favourite;
"Multebær" (Cloudberry, knotberry in english) with whipped cream!
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I swear to god, there's nothing worse in the world than having that smell of fresh waffles in the air, but you simply have no time to buy some...

Actually it's meat (mixed and chopped) curved into carrbage. You just want to try it!
He's right. Those are amazing. Here they are called sarmale though

This. Both Brussels and Liege have their 'own' waffle. I prefer the one from Brussel but the other one is great aswell

I've never tried Belgium-type waffles before, only the Norwegian/Scandinavian kind.
Oh god, I want one now!

Yes, but that doesn't mean I only eat kale, and spinach
Just like the fact I'm from Leiden doesn't mean I only eat Hustpot, herring and white bread

FOOD!
Just wondering, what is the quintessential food you grew up with that is related to your country?
For me it's boiled cod with boiled potatos and boiled carrots
@fcancellara: Food typically for your country. You posted Belgian food

I'm pretty sure I am going to do a story with Ag2r for PCM13. BHut then I went to make the thread in the new forums, then I rtealized that no one else had posted a single thing there yet.
So now I'm going to wait until I will actually start it (PCM Daily Expansion pack and patches released). Wouldn't want to have another Sunkist happen.
And I just realized my only story ever was also on Ag2r. And I stopped the 2012 TDF at stage 17... and I still have the save... well, time to play.
