what the fuck? no Estonia? second time in a row a country gets absolutely robbed in the semifinals: last year Iceland, this year Estonia...
Mind you in my performance ranking I placed Estonia 10th and I've been dwindling between this song and Macedonia for the final spot. I didn't like the Austrian song.
PS: Who thinks that the marrige proposal was clearly on purpose?

Bulgaria's participation in the final in doubt? According to some sources there is ongoing investigation about Kristiyan Kostov's visit in Crimea 3 years ago. However since he was 14 years old at the time of visit the travel ban may not apply to him.
I think they'll let him compete

Bulgaria have just proved why they could win ESC, the only big favourite that is staged in a modern standard this year. Good luck Kristian!

Macedonia wos robbed!
As much as I'd like to say that the top five is going to be UK, Croatia, Belarus, Romania and Moldova, I imagine Bulgaria, Portugal(didn't like that at all), Denmark and Israel will feature heavily.
I do like Italy's song, but even the ape wiould struggle to pull it off at 6th in the running order.

Very interesting how they placed 3 / 4 big favourites next to eachother at 23-26. Also, by investigating previous orders it looks like Portugal may have won the 1st SF as there's a 1 song break between them and Italy. Their early start makes me think that they might be a bit forgettable, or Italy ends up like France last year - fan favourite to win, lots of YouTube hype, then the stage show is underwhelming. Bulgaria has to be a contender now, especially since France, a weaker song, is closing the final.

Macedonia's song was overproduced and impossible to sing live. Thats why she went out. Really weak beginning of the show. My two personal faves at 10 and 11 next to each other. Bulgaria ridiculously well placed in the running order. France will surprise IMO. Alma is really good although the staging is a bit cliché with the eiffel tower |

Really beginning to think Croatia could make a top four. At first it's very novelty, but that could be used to Jacques's advantage- the pop-opera comes across as an achievement as oppose to tacky. As long as he can swing the juries behind him, who knows?

Portugal have now overtaken Italy in the odds following the first rehearsal of the final, in running order. Bulgaria are slowly making their way in on the 2 in front, I see Bulgaria shortening due to their running order placing.
Portugal - 2.6
Italy - 2.7
Bulgaria - 5 [fell from 15 since yesterday]
Personally I see Bulgaria winning after coming 2nd in televote and jury like Jamala last year. I keep forgetting Italy when I watch recap videos which makes me worry about it, Portugal has a charm. It is fairly wide open coming into the jury final which decided 50% of the result.

Dont think Sweden will make it top 5, Robin is like a sack of potatoes when it comes to live preformance and feeling on the stage compared to f.ex. Måns Zelmerlöv who won in 2015.
Maybe Robin can surprise and make a good preformance in the final if he is not as nervous as in the semifinal.
Other then that I dont have a clue about whos gonna be top 10, only song I have heard is Robins |

I think Portugal will win this year simply because the song is not in English or have huge chunk of English lyrics in it.

My predicted top 10
1 - Bulgaria
2 - Portugal
3 - Italy
4 - Azerbaijan
5 - Belgium
6 - Sweden
7 - Romania
8 - UK
9 - France
10 - Moldova
This year is hard to predict, but there seems to be a clear top 3 coming into the final. I think it is key to point out that Italy was a bit shaky during the jury final.

Honestly I believe that 3rd will be the best Bulgaria could come tonight - Portugal and Italy songs are in their native languages. And there is a fun fact - Portugal have never won ESC in their 48 attempts which is the longest drought in the history. Thus many Portuguese think that the Portuguese singing Salvador would finally bring the trophy to Portugal.
Another thing that came into mind - what if the video leak about our entry being in Crimea in 2014 to be an attempt to sway the jury from giving him more points? Kristiyan Kostov is born is Moscow, Russia and his mother is Russian. Could it be that Russia knew about Yulija not being allowed all along and to use Bulgaria's entry just to stick it to Ukraine?
