Giro: Nieve slipping out of the top 15. Only had 3 good days this race...
And it looks like the lanterne rouge will go to Rambaurt!
Moscow: Not much for us here, but with Roinas doing so well recently I don't mind.

Guess Richeze Renshaw Fortin Siskevicus Appollonio (It's a big race but show me 10 better lead out) still can't catch us a good result, huh?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Interesting race in Moscow, 4 riders in top 20, but only 9th is the best. |

It has been a really up and down Giro for several GC guys including the top guys. Yes Nibali in the end has romped away but early on his dominence was not clear.
For Saeco there have been a couple of good days - but given we bought a strong team (well as strong as we can muster) it was a disappointment. I think the startlist was the first problem - it simply meant from then on secondary GC guys were fighting for scraps. Coquard's sprint dominence is bizarre - if that had be Cav no arguements - is it simply he continues to suck Cav's train and launches.
Diego Rosa's yo you ride has at least been entertaining particularly imagining matt's rage about Cataldo!
Great reporting though - very much enjoyed the vids.

Nice long one from Froome there! More importantly: finally a breakaway win!
That Cataldo result was just weird. Nowhere all race and then out climbs some of the 82 brigade. Maybe the game can't handle so many titans?!
Almost there now. Rest of the team falling apart in the final week though: are we going to lose the team classification after having it almost all the Giro? |

Was There a late breakaway
Modolo being second is nice.
Aru will finish seventh in Giro, guess that 'll bring us some good points. However totally failed my goals due to the lack of breakaways. Otherwhise it should have been easy to win a stage. So i'm actually really disappointed by PCM 15

Yes, Boivin attacked with 7 kilometers to go if I recall correctly.

The stage turned out harder than expected.
Also I have made a new post with the final results and stats.
I'll upadate rankings and preview for June tonight. Could need some guys helping with reporting then.

Cataldo that can't even hold his top 15... sigh. Let's just forget about this!
Di Gregorio, a frenchie, is the only positive note of the Italian GT with a few high placements and a podium in the combativity award, and a close miss in the KoM. We gained something on SAP somehow, avoiding relegation is a step closer now. Never thought I would say this at all.
Thanks for the immense work Bikex. Cool stuff.

Damn, lost Christian on the last day but a fantastic top 10 for Adam. Just having a guy within an hour of Vincenzo the Terminator is a huge achievement.
Naturally, the lack of a stage win is hugely disappointing and it's a shame that it's mostly the game's fault. Again. But I can't complain about that. By far the best Giro we've ever had and with nowhere near our strongest lineup. We NEED to get a win in Le Tour though or I'm gonna start breaking stuff.
Thanks and congrats Bikex. Now, the horrors of the triple header to look forward to.

Nieve moved into the top 15! I'm happy now, although that point loss to Alitalia can't be good.
Either way, thanks and congrats bikex.

I suppose i should be happy with Schleck finishing in 12th position on the GC considering i only finished with four riders |

Four for Froome: pleasant alliteration for the team in what is comfortably our best ever ICL GT. His price is looking like a bargain considering breaks got no joy here. Solid rides from De Clerq and Vangenechten can't be forgotten.
Gutting to lose the team classification on the final stage but we won't complain about that given the titanic total of points from here.
Really is looking like a three horse race for the rankings now. We close the gap right up to Allianz, surprised we put 500 in to them, and minimize the loses to Italo ahead of Le Tour where there won't be any Nibali domination!
--
If all PCM2015 GTs are like this some serous thoughts will be needed to change the rankings points distribution if we keep the GTs.
Thanks Bikex: excellent coverage.

Indeed it was a Great stage win for Andy but gaining just 49s was not enough because the damage was already done unfortunately |

Giro is finally over.. that's the only positive thing from my side.
We lost roughly 1400 points on Prorace
(at least Hirt and Berhane always went into breaks, sad it didn't lead to a victory.)
Nice double win in Copenhagen - Malmo though. It's just CT, but nice to see my TT guys are racing good.

worst scoring team in the Giro, definetly not within my expectations when I made the planning.
