Orica is like Puma in mg, only that they went even more full retard. They'll have such a sick team in a few years if they can keep their talents together, absolutely crazy.
Having signed Simon and Caleb i think BLK is slightly more like Orica....

The Gorilla finally gets the victory he has been looking for! Cavendish and much of the Etixx team were distanced by the final climb and the fast pace in the following descent to catch the break.
It's not for nothing that Greipel outclimbed Nibali in MSR.

He can certainly hang tough when he's got the form, especially considering he's a big guy. Talking of MSR he was with the front group in 2014 too, think him and Roelandts just got distanced at the death and finished at the back of the group if memory serves.

Victory for Sascha Modolo and Lampre Merida in one heck of a tight finish involving Barbero, McCarthy, Kolar and Belleti. Carlos Barbero of Caja Rural in second place, always great to see Euskadi represent!
(Carlos Barbero used to ride for the continental Euskadi team)

Nice result from Barbero in deed. He isn't really Basque though having been born in Burgos.

Not by birth, but you know how elastic the rules can be when it comes to claiming someone as their own if you've spent enough of your developmental years in the Basque system.
Edit: Also depends on the heritage of his parents or grandparents too...

True and I have no idea where he raced as a junior, but always had him down as kind of a Samuel Sánchez of the CT-team. Not Basque but they needed someone to score some consistent good results...

How did Ewan became so bad at climbing? Wasn't he one of the best in Florence WC U23?
I always imagined him as the next Sagan/Degenkolb
He hasn't become bad at climbing, it is a big difference getting over the climbs with the best in the under 23's compared to the Pro's. He is doing just fine and considering OGE have Matthews I suspect that they are working on Ewan's top end speed in the sprints.

No Eschborn-Frankfurt tomorrow after police raided a couple's house in Frankfurt and found weapons and explosives.
They were seen along the race route too often to think of a coincidence atm, so for security reasons, the race was cancelled.

For us understanding better The Queen's lingo

Terrible that the islamist bomb-blokes have set their eyes on cycling as well. Remember back then when the Olympics had to be held up with hostiges. Left a mark in your mind still there so many years ago (1972 Munich)
Not all was good back in the Good Ole Days.
Hm did some remember Baader-Meinhof, hard times ....

Pello Bilbao! Basque Country on fire today at the Tour of Turkey!
Caja Rural really lightened the stage up at the end and got themselves two in the top three. The pressure on the ascent to the line from Caja Rural sees Durasek cracks Rebellin in the end and almost reverse then entirety of today's starting gap to Rebellin, the Italian now in second 21" down in the GC.

Heiner Parra; Alpina - Avianca represent!
Nice to see him doing well, has been rather anonymous since signing for Caja Rural in the last couple of seasons, had expected slightly more of him given his wise decision not to sign with the dysfunctional Colombia team.
Speaking of Colombia, Alex Cano there or thereabouts for the first time since returning from the hinterland of South America
