To do the true Novo Nordisk challenge you can only sign riders with Diabetes or similar diseases like what Gomez Marchante had.
Edit: Why is your motivation so bad Alak? I find this years version the best in quite a long time. The game is a lot of fun to play in 3d mode.

And for every generated rider you find with Nordisk, you need to attach a random number between 1 and 100, and if it's 1... bingo, you found a "diabetic"

Shouldn't be too hard, you win it just once and you already beat his record Well, at least you should if we apply same thing they did to Armstrong on his results too.
Don't get me started!

Kittel challenge sounds fun, although Novo Nordisk is even a better one. Good luck with that!
Going after GC's all the time means I'd like to go back to sprints, plus Argos is always my favourite team to play with.
On the other hand, there's been lots of GT riding lately, and usually, I rarely get to play them at all. So it's a bit overflow if there are like 15 GTs ahead again.

And gratz on your Stölting reults. I admire your passion for this game, I coudln't find motivation to play even few races with this game so far :L
Thank you
As soon as I have a really exciting and challenging goal, my motivation hits an all time high
But I have times where I really want to start a career with team x only to stop after February, and that continues for ten further careers.
Yeah, this game is really awful to play at times, and I was close to smash something several times, but I'm used to that since 7 years...

If you could point out a site where all those riders are listed?
But I actually have an idea:
How about I just write down 50 (or whatever number) random rider ID's + 50 random young rider ID's, look them up in the DB and mark them as "having Diabetes", thus reducing the possible transfers to those riders?

In the column "value_i_has_diabetes"? (just curious by what you mean "mark as having Diabetes )

There is a world outside of .cdb
Stuff like pen&paper or such...dunno if you already heard of that at your young age

This is beyond me, the game is predictable and boring as hell, i found it much worse than fully patched 2012, but everybody has different measures. Unfunctional race planning, stats and hapness system does not help much to my motivation to play, worse is incredible blocking, operpowered breaks and same riders attacking at foot of the last climb every day
Congrats Cio, your dedication seems incredible, i played like 20 stages since you started the challenge, i cant hardly play more than two in the row, especially in GTs, where it is all the same all the time.

Finished month of February (also first two days of March due to Le Tour de Langkawi) in my GreenEDGE career. Bunch of palmares but ... only 2 wins (if you count in one points calssification). To be honest, I enjoy this career quite a lot. Don't know how I will be able to start new one when PCM Daily DB comes out.
All that said here are the results for past month:
Tour of Qatar:
Team 5th Stage 2
Kruopis 2nd Stage 5, 7th Stage 4, 9th Stage 6
Impey 8th Stage 1
Howard 10th Stage 3
Vuelta a Mallorca:
Davis 2nd Stage 2, 4th Stage 1
Langeveld 3rd Stage 4
Meyer 9th Stage 3, 11th GC

I dont find it boring compared to PCM12 at all. There the only way to make an acceleration anywhere was using the dot, which really isn't fun for me.
I dont see this game as predictable compared to others either. Its pretty much the same. The race planning and stuff is stupid but I can kind of work with it still.
I really haven't noticed too much problems with blocking, I feel last years game and especially 11 were worse for blocking. I do find the breaks need work, but they get caught quite a lot for me. It depends on the strength and size of the peloton for me which is pretty realistic.
Also, I've only seen the riders all attacking at the foot of the last climb in Stage Race mode. In career, the peloton doesn't give up as quickly or at all compared to stage race mode, so I dont see it happen much.
I've never seen a proper time for when the peloton should just be sitting up, like it does in PCM. One of the dumbest things to implement into the game, and it was only to make people think the game wasn't broken because on climbs you couldn't accelerate ahead of the group because of the broken attack button. It was essentially to hide another one of their bugs that I guess they never felt like fixing until this version.

Ah, I thought you meant marking them in the .cdb
Concerning the above discussion, from what I've played so far PCM13 is definitely not perfect, but the gameplay is certainly better than 12 to me. If better than 11 and 09 is another question, I guess the answer will be clear with some time with the full patched game (I've only played since 09, so I can't give opinions before that) Edited by lluuiiggii on 21-08-2013 23:11
I am still playing with Rabobank(fourth season, at the final stages of the giro) i think i will try something new, but i am wondering if, this is a bad time in regards to when the PCM Daily DB will be released? Who would you recommend to start a new Carrier with? i would prefer a pro tour team, because i have been playing a lot at continental level with Rabobank
Had won three stages with Goss in P-N, had finished 7th with Meyer in stage 6 when suddenly it was all fucked up. Why? Because after T-A stage 3 I press next but instead of going to message board it goes to next T-N stage 4 with 7th stage of P-N being simulated in which I lost 6 minutes with Meyer!!!!!!! Fuck you Cyanide!!!

I'm building a youth team for the Cont Tour, the Soch team (which i think it is an unlicensed Bosch). Guys like Sütterlin, Arndt, Thurau, etc. and a lot of youths self-generated by the game.
imo its not thread worthy, so im going to ask here. Have you huys experienced or do experience, that the peloton slows down and does so on a regular basis?
If so, have you experienced that this behaviour is database related og does this happen no matter what ?
Started a career with Team Nutrixxon-Abus (fully German team) some time ago and continued it now. (PCM daily Real name DB). Best riders are Alexander Gottfried (HI 72, SP 70), Dirk Müller (FL, 70, HI 71) and Grischa Janorschke (SP 70). Actually, I archieved better results than I hoped for, e.g. a 2nd place in Bayern-Rundfahrt + stage win (Gottfried), win in Kattekoers (Janorschke), a stage win in Volta ao Altentejo (Müller) and quite a lot mountain jerseys. Now, in middle of July, I´m 45th in CQ-Ranking, which is 26th of Continental teams, "only"240 points away promotion, so there´s actually no chance this year. But next year, it should be possible with the signings I made: I wanted to keep the team 100% German, but I couldn´t resist the two best U23 riders . The other new riders will be Fabian Schnadit (22, SP 72), Stefan Schäfer (27, FL 69, TT 70) and - as absolute leader - Julian Kern (23, HI 74, SP 68). Quite happy with that, as I think I kept the team at least quite realistic, but made it a bit better and younger at the same time
