Here's something I don't think a lot of people understand about this investigation: It's an investigation into whether the team was involved in doping, not Armstrong specifically.
11 current and former riders of the team were offered immunity if they testified. ARMSTRONG INCLUDED.
He refused to. All 10 others agreed. So now of course he's being charged.
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong

Oh wait, I'm sure they're all jealous guys, who didn't have Armstrong talent, who're dying to get into the spotlight, and who'd be ready to tell anything just to get a little money.

Armstrong stands to lose at least one of his Tour titles due to the eight-year statute of limitations on doping charges, however the World Anti-Doping Agency confirmed to Cyclingnews that older evidence may be used to support current charges in certain cases.
Oh, boohoo, one of his TDF wins
TThat's why he won 7, if he'd lose on later, he still holds the record! |

That makes no sense, if he's condemned for facts that happened in 2005 and before, why should he lose only his 2005 title ? There are no reason to think he was more doped in 2005 than in the previous or following (2009-2012) years.
But I think WADA has a clause about it, to strip victories more than 8 years prior, if cheating is proved.
I hope he'll get financially broke, and will lose his influence on cycling. I don't really mind about his titles, I mean giving them to the likes of Beloki, Ullrich, and Basso ? |

Given he's American, I really don't wish that for him, for anyone for that matter. I agree that if he did do doping, he should be punished. But wishing for him to lose all his money is a bit harsh imo. |

Take away that. But not all his money is earned cheating.
And even if it is, imo it's harsh to really wish for someone to be bankrupt, even if he did such a thing. But that's just me. |

I'm not saying he should live as a bum, but all his money gives him an influence he shouldn't have. He's been a nuisance to many people, and is still considered a hero by many. Break him financially and that'll get us rid of him, for the better. |

I hate that everyone's nagging about him getting married now.
If he'd have done TDF, he wouldn't have done what he did in the Giro.
+ Let him get married, it's not our business.
(PS I don't mean this site, but everyone in the media is bitching about it) |

He arranged the wedding day 2 years ago. The start of the Tour was changed after that because of the Olympic Road Race date. It's not his fault that he's missing the Tour. |

That's why I was wondering. Then I saw De Gendt and I realized it.
