Thanks Bikex. Looks like we are on for our maiden team classification then: though I am taking nothing for granted after 'that' stage!
Thanks for another race Matt, as well. 8th is fair enough considering the cobbles weren't too hard. He has done enough to get the move from Korup - PLB!
Also Bikex: If it is easy to do so: could we also have a victories per team list (for the season so far) after the Giro?

Will you write SN about the gameplay, bikex?
I can do, but I doubt it will change much for the MG.

Had planned to post something like that already for a while, but haven't updated the Archive File to the actual races for some time, after that is done I'll post a victory ranking.
Thanks matt for posting Rutland - Melton. Pintzopoulos seems to have lost some of his early season form.
from 22nd to 14th in 3 days!!! Just suddenly changing heart, becoming way more aggressive with the attacks on earlier climbs and it actually paying huge dividens finishing 3rd, 7th and 8th and taking the Cima Coppi
Had two goals for this race, stage win and top ten, but now a top 15 is amazing with room to improve on the penultimate stage, although I'm still hoping for excitement on the hilly last day
thanks for the stages bikex

On the ever important lanterne rouge battle the time limit has struck taking the two leaders, and many more out. Rambaud has 15'02 on Bobridge and 29'18 on Colex, will be an interesting battle to see who takes this one.
Btw. it could be possible to reduce/even out the impact the Giro will have on the rankings. There are a few things I could do if you think these are appropriate measures.
These are the options:
#1 Give Ranking points to riders on combativity award
I could give ranking points to the first riders in the combativity rankings. They are based on break appearances and scored KoM/Points while in breaks.
#2 Remove the podium riders from the KoM rankings
By removing all podium riders or possibly only the winner from the KoM rankings points would go to riders that only targeted the KoM jersey and reduce the amount of points for riders that won many stages and are on the podium (mainly Nibali & Froome)
#3 Remove KoM points awarded at the finish
I could remove all KoM points that were achieved at a finish. As no break won (so far) these would mainly hit Nibali and the other GC podium riders and give more points to riders in breaks targeting the KoM jersey.
#4 Remove points for points jersey at mountain stages
Same like with the KoM ranking, would lead to Sprinters being the top riders in the points classification.
Alternatively the points awarded could not be totally removed, but lowered.
I know this would be a huge intervention into the game, but I feel like it could please people a little that were not so happy with the results so far and make the ranking points distribution a little more even. Through the stage results GC riders have already a lot of points achieved.
Tell me what you think and if there are options you'd like to be implemented.
First of all, let me say that you don't need to feel bad for winning (dominating ). Nibali will always be a favourite in the Giro and there's nothing you can do about this AI, no one is blaming you for anything. With this heavy mountain Giro, it was also to be expected you get GC riders claiming points and mountains jersey.
I'm not a fan of interventions, but there's no denying that if it's left like this, it will have a decisive impact on the season. Combativity award would be ok, though you probably have to add it for Giro and Vuelta as well. Lowering the points could be ok as well, but I expect much opposition there.
I am all against these changes during a season. I guess part of the reason why we have all top stars at the Giro is that managers hoped to win all three jerseys with their star rider. The route promised a good chance that the best climber would also win the point classification and only the utter dominance of Coquard stopped them (so far). Also the KoM jersey often goes to the best climbers. Nothing wrong with it.
I'm a big fan of removing points in mountain top finishes but that can't be implemented during a race so this could be a priority for rule changes for the next season.
KoM points at the end of a stage could also be reduced. No problem with that.
Don't like option one and option two looks unfair to me.
I agree with most of my other guys. Some of the ideas about KoM are great for next season I believe. Turning the KoM comp into one for the breakaways should work quite nicely if the points are removed before racing starts. But definately not now while season is going.
It was certainly reasonable to expect that one rider was going to dominate all three rankings.
The 'Combativity' award is one that is very arbitrary. A possible nice intitiative for next year in GT's perhaps.
Teams 'targetting breakaways' is always a bit iffy - there is down to pure speculative luck most of the time imo. Dodgy GT team is a bit like dodgy cobbled outfit - you shouldn't expect much consistent results - in fact you should expect near to nothing.

Nah mate I'm super pissed about how the Giro is going but to be honest I wouldn't be too pleased about any of those changes. PCM 15 is the real judge, a f*ing bastard and unfair judge but still, and there's no real way to make the situation any better than to advance through the season bitching and whining as quick as possible. 2017 is the shit laddies.
Bikex - I get the frustration but changing the rankings points for this Giro is a no-go. Even though the rankings will be crazy.
I understand your suggestion to take away points from everyone on the GT podium, however, Froome, Quintana and especially Contador have not been omnipotent this Giro: Nibali has!
Also, why didn't you consider deducting points from Coquard: at least Nibali's performance has been feasible!

People who own PCM2015: Has this issue about no breaks winning at GTs been a well-known issue or is this Giro a one-off fluke?

Yes before the start of this it was the only single issue with PCM 15. Now all the other problems are arising. I am already writing a paper with all the AI issues we've encountered in the MG and here and sending it to Cyanide now that we are in close contact during the beta testing period.
This video covers quite a lot of the stage, that's why I have made the most part up Mortirolo and until the last 10 kilometres with pace x2.
The results for this and Copenhagen - Malmo will be posted tonight.

Basically everyone is for not making any changes, so I'll keep it the way it is.
Thanks for everyone who posted their oppinion. For next season there'll definitely be some changes, especially as PCM15 will be used for that one as well then.
Allthough I wouldn't consider it a huge change that destroys everybodies planning, as it is just a reaction on something also nobody had expected.
Well I guess I can throw away my hope for a top 20. On the subject of the changes, as was the case earlier on, the general consensus seems to be that if any changes are suggested during the season, it's not right to consider implementing them until the next season.

2 more to go and this ridiculous race is over.
Yep, exactly that. I just want this stupid thing to be over.
Concerning changes: Especially #3 and #4 are good ideas for next season, taking away some Jerseys from the favourites. Though I agree with most of the others: making changes throughout the season is hardly acceptable.
