True Fact
Also, wouldn't it be nice to have a Belgian on our side more often?
Yeah I'm not sure what you mean with your game thread post, would you care to elaborate? Who is mistress?
If you mean the route changed because of Vague skipping you're wrong. I still expect Vague to skip the race despite the changed start.
The downhill start was abandoned because the riders didn't bring their skis, if you catch my drift
Please don't turn this into another Struibaai Riders can go downhill with getting off the bike too
I wanted the race being full-raced because icy descents are a part of cyclocross
Yeah but those are mostly on rough terrain. This descend is a road. Ice on that road means it's slippery as hell. In real life, riders would protest AGAINST the descend, not FOR it a downhill like that is dangerous as hell |

As the person who made this course i am ok with the prescribed changes. That downhill on ice would lead straight to A&E, this change is minor but very good the riders safety

Thanks TMM
Also, I'd like to remind everyone that cyclo-crossers can't afford to skip too many races. Their team expects them to ride, and they also need the money they get for starting in a race. Not to anyone in particular, but I've had some PMs already (over the course of the game, not just now) asking for riders not to participate in some races. Of course that's possible, but keep in mind that there are consequences to that, too
Of course, young riders can't be expected to ride all races throughout the season. But older riders and veterans shouldn't be skipping races because it's not "their" profile, that's not really cyclo-crossy |

Unfortunately TMM doesn't care for rider safety.

I'll be putting away my computer for the rest of the day, sick of looking at it for an entire week straight, both for internship, school work and hobby
Send in tactics/non starts today. Tomorrow I'll probably set the result and then Tuesday I'll do the race. Depends on many factors, though, but I think I can manage that. Maybe even tomorrow evening, but I can't be sure! |

Btw, not sure how much sense it is having past editions of this course in the Lee Valley VeloPark, seeing as this did not exist until the London Olympics

See I didn't know that
Then I guess the past editions were just in Lee Valley, not in the VeloPark? |

That can work! Perhaps in the past it was in some other location in the North East of London and now the reason it has returned is that it will take place in the Olympic Park from now on.

Or in this fantasy world the London Olympics took place in 2004 and the Lee Valley VeloPark was built in 2003 for it .

Maybe tomorrow... |

No, but I managed to do it thanks to my older sister!
Okay, I'm extremely tired from working almost 2 days straight now. I still have so much to do in the next two weeks.
All the more reason to take some time-off, too, to avoid burning out. So I'll try to do the report this evening, blow off some steam on the virtual cyclo-cross track! |

Lee Valley cross is up!
I'd like to introduce an interesting thought for the interviews, to upset things a little bit we see a clear winner today. But would it have been the same with Vague here? Who's good on ice as well as climbing... Maybe this victory comes with a bit of a footnote, without Vague? Then again, maybe it doesn't...
Just a thought that was floating around in my head |

Fuck Cook, I've clearly said ''don't make him win''
I can see Matt successfully fighting the ice and yet managing to almost ever get a top10 spot

Lipawsky loves the bad weather and doesn't have a problem with the ice. These next few weeks look fun.

Matt certainly is among the most consistent riders out there this season, something to be proud of
@trekbmc: Let's hope for him the bad weather continues, as does Sylvain's form! |

His form has been dropping hard result-wise since the first races in America. I doubt Vague could have fought for anything more than second place today, but thanks for the honours Ian.

Don't forget to react in the game thread
@Shonak, most probably, still I think it'll haunt some fans of Cook forever

ExCel Center Circuit preview is up. Send in tactics within 24 hours if you can
It's time to see if the ice specialists can survive without the ice, indoors |

Well this race has nothing to do with ice specialists, it's the same as any other race we've had this season!
