( btw it might come now to Langkawi who will be the last WT team without win between Astana vs Belkin - Bos vs Guardini - epic battle ahead )

You can add 18'55, Van Garderen; 19'06, Uran; 19'11, Rodriguez and 19'20, Gesink to that list as well. This year's climb was fast for everyone.
EDIT: Assuming all the GC-guys started the climb in the smae group.
Gesink went 1 minute faster than when he won in 2011, and it was only good for fifth crazy! Cycling has gotten stronger.

Obviously we're all unsure about the wind conditions nor on how the temperatures affected results, but seeing 4 or 5 guys beat the former record on that climb... Marginal gains at work...

Didn't know Kreuziger turned into sprinter in the off season
That's some big thigs, although the angle probably makes his right leg look bigger than it actually is. His left leg is probably more significant, but he's very muscular indeed. Problem with muscular guys is that they struggle on long climbs because they can't provide enough oxygen to those big muscles. Two ways to thrive then : lose massive amounts of weight (Ã la Wiggins), or the 90's way.
Sarcasm aside, it was probably warm and he has less fat than the common Sunday ride cyclist, but still... whatever happened to his veins ?

Can anyone explain what happened at Haut Var with Bentacur from Degenkolb then Dumoulin :/ Not sure of the finish or if things got messy at the end?
Betancur was supposed to be Dumoulin's leadout guy. Obviously he forgot to slowdown. He must have gotten rid of that paunch he had late last year too, back then his profile didn't make him look like a race winner.

Ah, the sight of Froome racing again... his riding style is so weird, it looks like an amauter who's just began riding on a road bike.
And yet Fred Grappe assumed an output of 23 % for him last Summer. That ranks as "good" even for pro standards.
To be honest, I'd say it's probably less, which means Froome produces even more raw power than we generally think, which would partly explain his Mont Saint-Michel ITT result.

Funny I always thought that as well. For a guy who's supposed to win everything on the details, he surely has a rough style.
