Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Lotto really, really awesome signings there Amazing work there, with not the highest budget!
They didn't spend much last two years. The only signing I can remember is Mehdi Sohrabi. Does that make a difference? |

Lotto got few new sponsors earlier this season, which allowed them to increase their budget.
Boeckamns is another good signing, although he's a not greatly consistent yet.

Alongisde Sinkeldam, Ahlstrand, Ardnt, Dumoulin, Daan Oliver ( new signing ) and Barguil alongside those two, Argos has probably heaps of talent in the team.
And that's not counting Degenkolb and Kittel who are young, their big breakthrough already.

Because he's good from a marketing perspective and likes to get in breaks, showing the jersey? |

1) He's a 'marketing tool rider', especially as Trek has big presence in Asian market.
Same thing happens in football with many Korean / Japanese players.
2) He's a solid enough domestique. And a team can't be made of just leaders.

He's still 10 times better as Ji, Xing or Miyazawa
Or he knows to much and blackmails Bruyneel's buddies (Lapage and Demol) in giving him contracts

Last year (?) at the Giro he did great lead-outs if I remember. |

Yeah lets not pretend he isn't a good rider as well. Sure, being from Japan helps for sponsors but he is still the sort of rider who will work hard every day if he has to, can get into breaks and he has no real leadership ambitions. That last point can't be overestimated.

Yeah, he's a capable domestique who knows European racing and who is attractive to the Asian market. Worth the dollar. |

Sebastian Langeveld to leave Orica Greenedge at the end of the season. Not yet known where he's going. |

I also remember Ian Boswell going to Argos and look how long that lasted. Craddock won't be there long I presume.

He went there only as a trainee
Very surprised by Langeveld decision. At Orica he had full leadership in the cobbles plus free roles in races such as Eneco etc. But at the end, it's money that does the talking.
Jens Keukeleire re-signs with ORICA-GreenEDGE for 2 years.
P.S. “We’re looking for a team with a strong Classic team, from number rider 9 until 1 but as well someone to share responsibility and leadership in the finals, to pair up with... He likes to share leadership''
This more or less confirms it's very likely to be Sky.

Yeah and to be honest, Sky's cobbles team is rubbish. So realistically he is going to get leadership there anyway.
