Kangert only looking after Aru. Don't really agree with that decision by Martinelli.

You don't think he should have dropped back to Aru on the climb? Landa just sat on Movistars wheels anyways, why would Kangert stay there?

Well Movistar has been on the front of that group the whole time, Aru did get dropped but got back on. What else would you have liked Amador to do? To me he is doing the best he can to maintain his position

Well,if he had attacked or upped the tempo for another time Aru might have been completely cracked

Stromeon
Hesjedal asks Contador to come through and do some work when he has a teammate on the front

Yeah that might have happened or maybe he would of cracked himself if he attacked, Amador is a handy rider but riding this high in the GC is a big step up for him, also there are some tough stages to come and he doesn't want to kill himself today for a few seconds then lose minutes on the bigger stages

Ellisonde finally showing something. Had expected much more of him this Giro.

Martinelli has seen the light apparently...

So is this a race between Gilbert and Chavnel for the stage win?

Ad break as soon as Gilbert catches and rides straight past the old front group... sigh...

Chavanel is great descender. Wouldn't surprise me if he came back to Phil

Stromeon
Phil seems to be descending pretty well himself, no idea on time gaps though
