Mr. Froome was 10" faster as Velits (who had by far the best bike change of everybody due to Bramati having an impressive sprint) on the last part. Atleast 15secs faster as all others
Edit: It was raining for Froome
Edit2: Purito fastest on the second hill while he changed bikes during the climb

Thought he was beaten, but should've known better. Usual boring conclusion...
Also sad about Péraud, can't get much worse that that. Could be his last chance for a good tour GC. |

Missed the stage. Can someone give me a brief summary please?
Contador tried but failed and Froome took the win.
Mollema had a bad day and drove himself out of the GC
Rodriguez and Valverde drove like insane and was only beat by Contador and Froome.
Kreuziger had a good day and finished after Rod, Val
Thanks!
And to all those with sarcastic comments: thanks for the input a time trial can have a summary, yes. "the riders rode" is not a (good) summary
'The riders rode' is better than 'The riders drove' which is one of those things that really annoys me I think it's because in some languages the verb for ride and drive is the same eg isn't German Ich fahre rad, Ich fahre Auto??

Just saw that Quintana did better than Kwiatek, nicely done. |

I cant believe that Quintana is only 23 he looks like he is at least 40+
But ya he did decent today and he will probably move into the top 5 tomorrow. |

I think he will move into the top 3 aswell this Tour. He's the best climber after Froomedawg. His climbing style annoys me because it looks like it's nothing to him but yeah he is a great climber. |

Reminds me of Freddy Adu. Probably way older then he said he is. But i don't think it's the case here. |

Is Evans small? He always looks big to me. Not as big as Froome/Wiggo/Lance but certainly broader then some of the very slender latin riders. |

He's relatively short (174 cm), but much heavier in relation to his size than the other top climbers. Contador, for example, is 2 cm taller but weighs 6 kg less.

I was impressed by Quintana's mentality today. He didn't burst out on the first incline and so he was able to pace himself well around the course.
And I think Rodriguez's time highlighted the grimpeur-nature of the course.
So sad about Péraud though |

Especially Evans arms are very normal. Nothing like Froome's arms.
A proof to me Evans is a clean guy who never even came close to Aicar or clent.

What's the problem with the Belkin boys? They simply finish at their level. And they will probably end the Tour at their level (lower end top 10 for Mollema. Ten Dam perhaps even above his level if he actually manages to stay top 10) |

I agree, but I still think Mollema can achieve a top 5. And he's only 26 so he hopefully is even stronger next year. |

I meant the late crashes in this case.
Performance wise? Punching well above the expectations so far up to this point. Impressive display so far.

There. I've made a ladder
You forgot Vandenbergh at 1,99. The tallest pro rider in the peloton. And I didn't know Phinney was that tall.
Another thing I want to point out from today's time trial.
46 KITTEL Marcel Team Argos - Shimano 4:17
Impressive from a rider who supposedly could't climb a speedbump before this TdF. |
