Wasn't expecting a so good result at WPC by Phinney, 2nd in GC and winning Point's jersey with 5th and 2nd in stages. I'm less regretted in not selecting Luxembourg GP

Come on Danny
Cymru's always there when you least expect them.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Lewis Pugh salvaging something from that race with 4th in the U25 for 8 points, of course it would've been amazing to hold on to the front group and get GC points as well.
Another decent performance from our late signing though nevertheless.
Schnaidt as invisible as possible, if we stay CT I'll definitely avoid the World Cup races and as many of these easy scoring opportunities for WT teams as possible next season now that I know what kind of opposition turns up for them.
At least none of our promotion rivals scored too well in the GC here.

Bouhanni's first stage ruined a GC win, but P3 and a stage win is a good result to get out of WPC. Good to see we're out of immediate relegation danger but we need to keep the performance up.

Well after the great Giro we've come back down to earth pretty quickly it seems.
I really don't think we have a lot of chances to stay up but overall this season has been above expectations so far, so I can't complain. Almost all of our hopes now lie on Villella and maybe Jungels who was absolutely useless so far (thanks Croatia ).
Thanks for the update!

Zabel had a good start in Juarez, but after his win on stage 2 he wasn't really useful anymore. I'll take that stage win and a good GC, though.
I knew he'd surely not be among the strongest in WPC, but him not even caring at all is really disappointing. That's not the right attitude, kid!
On the other hand, we had a fantastic team performance in Vancouver. Commiserations to Nemo, though, as Nerz crashing out actually made that GC podium by Godoy possible. It was a very, very lucky one, with 4th place on s.t.
Mendes unfortunately faded a bit after a great prologue, but finally climbed up to the Top 10 again, so really a great result for us!

Pretty good ride from Langlois, just a shame bonus second shook out the way they did so he only finished 8th on GC.

Kittel clearly still tired from his Tour exertions as even with the full lead out pretty poor results in WPC. CT teams really held their own.
Pretty sure 6th is as high as we get in the standings but hopefully more than enough cushion to keep us up even if the rest of the season produces little. Wasn't expecting Boris Vallee to be my 3rd highest WT scorer, think that mostly reflects the failure of some others.
Herrada has more race days than Nairo so although I think Nairo beat him head to head in the Grand Tours (but wouldn't swear to that) going to be tough to beat him in the rankings. Awesome season for Sagan.

Horrendous performance for our focus race in Juarez. Nothing to show for ourselves and the sponsors don't look pleased with the results here. |

Good racing at the WPC. Though looking at the rankings it seems like we got nerfed a little too much

Let's go!!! Huge day for Guinness and for the country of Ireland in GP San Jose!
Looks like we played it absolutely perfectly. With Langlois and Bennett I basically had enough sprint days to more than cover our pure flat races, so I had a bit of flexibility to pick and choose potential surprise spots. Sent Bennett here to ride the wheels and maybe win the sprint, with Martin as the true leader.
The result was absolutely perfect. Martin responded to and countered the attacks and Bennett survived, so we got a small group at the finish where Bennett was in prime position. he takes the win, Martin sprints a great top 5 as well. I couldn't have possibly drawn it up better. Awesome win boys!

Decent consistency from Plarre to finish 7th twice there, Trans Cycling again outdo us but the other dangerous teams didn't get as much from these races.
Schulze in 18th in Rio also with some points to boost our total to close to 100.
Congrats bbl!

Ouch, San José really hurts. And it hurts even more to see Bennett win, when Zabel is actually stronger on the hills... No clue why apparently none of our riders even tried staying with the front group - there are some way weaker riders than Zabel or Huamán ahead of them...
At least the second focus race in a row, Rio, gave us a great result! Like in Colombia Team GP, we take a second place home from a focus race - that should definitely help our budget. Unfortunately, the two others - San Luis and San José - were pretty horrible. Let's hope Vuelta a Colombia will be another good one, which would make it 3:2.

Memo for next year: Don't participate in WC races as a medium/low-level CT team. Another wasted race in San Sebastian, but we're here to learn ^^

Nothing for us in San Sebastien with Houle finishing above Martin.
Sam with some consistent if unremarkable results in Pologne, but it's awesome to see Saby in white and jumping in all the breakaways!

I warn about that in my beginner's FAQ. But yeah, really top notch riders this year. Sagan 5th, once again a great result, 40 more points for the WC ranking. Edging closer and closer to defending his title.
