So just to make sure i understood it correctly:
If I put WAIT on a rider I need to renew him later on in order to sell him?

Yes.
You can't sell a rider who isn't on your team. You can also sign him if you sell someone else that leaves a gap.

It's not that I havy anything against Sky/Jaxica. It's just part of Epic.
Well what we saw was Wiggins say he wanted to race Le Tour and every British fan-boy (roughly 50mil of our population) go nuts about it. He then refocused himself towards a new goal of Paris-Roubaix and in the process won ToB, became a good classics rider, became a great one-week stage racer and became ITT WC. Sky threw money at him and the problem went away, especially when Froome won Le Tour.
Also seeing what Movistar got with three riders pretty much saying three different GT's. Irl Costa wanted to tackle the Tour and left for Lampre as a result of conflict with Quintana and Valverde, in much the same way Uran left Sky to find his own leadership chances (not just GT but more generally in week long races and Ardennes)
Thank god Bouhanni and Demare arn't superstars and i can avoid this problem somewhat.

Stromeon already explained it, he costs 112000 and I have only got 127000 available so yeah, I can't afford him at the moment, if I want to start the season with more than 5 riders. 
I have to admit though, that it's pretty realistic that I can't afford him, given that my team got relegated, so I'm not overly shocked or surprised.
