I'm serious, if Sagan doesn't win a stage I don't find him worthy of winning the points jersey, especially because in the sprints he only sits in Kittel's wheel and doesn't even try to win stages (at least from my impression)
Do you feel the same way about the mountainsjersey? That if the rider winning the mountainsjersey haven't won a mountainstage, then he isn't a worthy winner?
less so but after doing some research in the period 2013 -> 2000, only Charteau (2010) Pellizotti (2009), Kohl (2008), Jalabert (2002) didn't win a stage and only in 2001 it's arguable not a mountain stage.
so appearently kinda

Nibali has two stage wins ..yellow jersey. worthy race leader for me.
And if Contador and Froome had been there he would have been 0 stage wins and no yellow jersey.
But we really wont know for sure, but congrats Nibali won the tour.
And if Merckx had been there, then my aunt would have been my uncle and my cat would be named Lord Mittens.
But we really won't know for sure.
Nibbles also won a stage and held the jersey with Contador and Froome still in the race, you knob.
Great stage, drama all the way.

Kwiatek is not really a GT GC rider. I'd rather hed go for stages than lets say 12th in GC. Let's not forget that Tony in the real MVP today |

Also shoutout to Scarponi, wiped out spectators, comes back to the peloton and still sets up Nibbles like a dream. |

Dude he won a stage and the yellow jersey with both Froome and Contador in the race hahahahahaha
Ya, your right i forgot the 2.stage where he took yellow and got 2 secs lead.
So he would have been 1 stage win, a few days in yellow but he wouldn't have won today.
I don't think you can say for that definite, the hole you are digging is getting deeper, now I can say that for definite!

Feel really sorry for Nibali here.
Nobody knows if Contador and Froome would have beaten him. His form seems to be as good as ever and who knows if he could have followed them.
Now he will always be the guy who (eventually) wins due to others crashing.
Yeah it doesn't seem fair for him, he could of beaten Froome and Contador or at least made it a real fight in the form he is in. It's a GT and crashes happen we have seen it before, it's a pity people will look at it not being a real victory because his 2 main rivals are out. That ride on the cobbles surely is enough for people to see he is a worthy leader of this race

Kwiatkowski doesn't have that GT type GC ride in him in my opinion. More of a classics rider and I think he should stick to that as his priority.

Valverde = Coward
Why is that?
Finishes 3rd Porte was not even good today yet atleast he tried for a bit on the front, maybe Nibali blew him p but he did no work atall after. Pinot bet's he wishes he attacked aswell. Everyone will ride for 2nd now. That is dissapointing
Did you not see the part where Valverde cracked and got dropped by Porte? Yeah what a fucking coward for riding at his limit and recovering to pass a rider who obviously went too hard earlier in the climb.
Pinot did attack?
I know Pinot could have gained more time though. And about Valverde he is racing for podium like they all are. Valverde finshed 3rd, not bad for someone who could not follow
Well the fact he nearly got caught by the group he attacked from says otherwise. And are you telling me as soon as a rider cracks he isn't allowed to race anymore? He dropped down to the Ag2R group. Its not like he sat on Porte's wheel. He cracked and then came back. Nothing cowardly about that.

Fractured Tibia for Contador, fair play for trying to get back, most footballers would have cried off for months!

No Tinkoff riders in the top 100 seems like they will all be stage hunting from now on |

This is history in the making. We are quite lucky to be watching cycling these days as we are about to witness the second rider of this generation win the Big Three.

Agreed. He would be a beast for Fleche Wallone, Amstel Gold Race and perhaps even Liege Bastogne Liege if he focused on that. |

They sent ay climbers they had left back for Contador when he crashed, so not a surprise.

Yeah.
Perhaps we won't have to wait to many more years before another one joins that exclusive club (Quintana) |

Yeah I agree, hes perfect Amstel & L-B-L also great for 1 week races such as Paris-Nice, Tirreno, Pais Vasco, Romandie, Suisse but Grand Tours is too much for him especially if like this year theres only 1 TT.

Machado still on the road it seems.
At least he wasn`t within the 178 finishers.
The one is Schillinger plus the 3 abandons Hayman, Contador, King.
