I agree. In most carreers 2nd and 3rd have very good results, close to the nr1.
But you can't really say that winning Le Tour/WC isn't a very good result.

Yeah, those are very good results, but are followed by no good results, differently from Sanchez. And seeing it now, Davis got 92 on PT ranking? That's not really good
Btw, what does that Siege mean? Not used to the rider of the year feature =P

"Siege" is German for "victories".
I was also a bit surprised about that less victories of all 3 of them.

Yeah, agree with you all.. Sánchez with only 3 victories, but first in ProTour (Vuelta-win and 3rd in Tour is for sure great enough).. Schleck was "only" good, great in Tour.. in my opinion, there were better riders in 2010: especially Cunego (1st LBL, 1st La Fleche Wallonne, 6th in Giro, 1st Tirreno-Adria and more).. but I've found this on Wikipedia for the Velo d'Or-award:
"Until 2006, the winner of Tour de France had always been placed first or second in the award classification."
So, Schleck had to be at least 2nd in this award
Btw: I'll go to 2011-season as soon as possible, the first preview will be uploaded this evening (European-time)!

@FreitasPCM and roturn: Thank you! Like roturn said, we are happy with the team's performance in 2010! And here are the riders, who could make the 2011-season even more succesfull:
This riders will be our leaders in 2011. The point '2011' shows the races, where these riders will have the goal to win/achieve a good overall/stage-win.. this is the first time, i've used the SeasonPlanner So hopefully I've made a good plan:
The complete squad for 2011:

California, Bayern and Vattenfall are tough goals.
But looking forward to it.
Tachira is always nice to read, looking forward to it. |

@all: Thank you very much for all the comments and wishes for 2011 Really appreciate it! We have of course some tough goals again.. like repeating the overall win in California.. and Vattenfall Top-10 (last year we didn't get a wildcard there).. I hope to show you some nice results soon
So.. let's start with the first race.. Vuelta al Táchira! This is one of my personal goals. And of course Rujano's personal goal. A Top-5 would be good, a win even better. But we have other, more important goals for Rujano this season (Langkawi, Quinghai), so he won't be in a good shape like last year within this Táchira. But he should be one of the favourites, although the startlist looks stronger than in 2010.

Good luck.
Indeed there are some good names in the startlist, but still I think a podium is possible. |

@roturn: Thanks. Podium should be possible, agree.
I'll present the first 3 stages of Táchira within one image. Only short summaries.. because of two reasons: 1. Not very interesting races 2. The first stages of this Táchira crash very often (so there are no screenshots from stage 3):

Definitely not the best start but quite sure you can gain these 40s on the harder stages. |

This is something that needs to be changed. It's ridiculous. It's impossible to do well on 'prologue' TTTs. Qatar, Settimana Coppi e Bartali, Táchira, I can't remember of doing medium even with the best team on any of them. Btw, same happened on Tachira in 2010 with DD, right? This should be changed But as Roturn said, you can get 40 secs with so much hard stages
