Hey Ian I was wondering if you are still giving out random events, or am I one of the only ones not to receive one?
I have not yet started with them.
Problem is that too many riders are inactive, so giving out events would be useless for those.
Instead I have been integrating the random events in the races themselves. I might insert the random events later in the game, though, when it becomes obvious who's actually playing this game and who isn't |

technical difficulties.
Race postponed, I hope I can do it this weekend.
The laptop I use to generate the automatically updated rankings has gone wankers on me. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible. |

Can you post the race without updating the rankings, or is it more complicated than that?

Yes, I could, but I feel that'd mess a bit with the realism of the game, not giving the updated new classification after the race.
If it isn't fixed tomorrow night, I'll post the race without anyway and try to find a way around it, though, can't wait around forever. |

I finally had some time to do the race. Didn't put in the energy I wanted to, though, I'm so tired from the busy week.
I hope to have the program fixed as soon as possible, because I wouldn't want to calculate the entire time classification myself hope to get it working tomorrow. |

Acord came second! Unfortunately it wasn't great for Sylvain.

Lachy keeps in touch with the top 3!
EDIT: Changed my post-race interview after seeing Franny's blog. Cocky little...

Ian, i'm loving this game more and more. Congratulations for it. A quite meh race for Matt, but what should i have expected from a sandy race? Still, he limited the time loss. And yhats certainly good for his cocacola ambitions

@Ian: I'm sorry I haven't posted in the other thread recently. I was really into this for a small while, but keeping up with 5 individual storylines was too much for me, and I'm terribly sorry to say I no longer even have time to write posts.

@matt17br: Thanks a lot, really pleases me to hear that I hope that means we'll continue to see Mazzarelli in the wonderful world of cyclo-cross and grow even stronger!
@NTTHRASH: I understand, don't worry about it. It's a game after all, so I only want people to do it if they want to themselves, shouldn't turn into a job hope you still follow your riders' results, though!
@All: MY brother's working on an update for the game program this moment! First job is to fix the Coca-Cola Trophy since it was bugged after this third race. But if that's done and once it's finished, it'll make my job easier and we might have that UCI Ranking come in a little later this season!

Liked Rio Cross despite Vague dropping hard. Should give some time to think about.
Any chance we might get South Africa preview this weekend?

Okay so it'll take a bit longer to fix it, it would seem. Could be a week, maybe even longer.
Therefor I will just give the updated Coca-Cola Trophy ranking at the preview of its next race. Let's move on for now, otherwise we'd have to wait more than a week and that's a bit too long for me |

But then we can't move on, as next up is a preview for the next Coca-Cola race
