Anybody who doubts what a C*%t Armstrong has been the watch the Four Corners show on the Armstrong era, it should be on https://www.abc.net.au/iview/ under news and current affairs, it should be up tomorrow. We should have already all heard it before but for any who doubted then this was one well put together 40 minutes and shows how this fool lied under oath. At least Hamilton and Andreau have had the guts to admit what mistakes they made, it aint right that they did it but at least they have had the guts to come forward. Watch it as I haven't seen this explained so well in simple terms yet. As I said it has just screened on Oz TV so should be up by tomorrow our time

And can it be watched anywhere in the world or just from a pc that is in Oz? I only ask because I know that BBC programmes on their iPlayer are only viewable in the UK only.

I believe it is region locked. Just watch it through a proxy or wait for it to show up on cyclingtorrents, where I imagine it will go.
Ah yes sorry guys I forgot about the whole region thing.... I am sure it will be on Cytorrentz soon

If not then this page has most of the summary and some of the videos (again I'm not sure that it will work): https://www.abc.ne...rs/4313246
Fourcorners always posts transcripts as well, but this one isn't up yet.
It is mostly archive footage broadcast for the first time from the 2005-6 court case as well as interviews with various key figures like Betsy Andreu. Really, really interesting stuff and some of the best journalism in the non-cycling media on the topic that I've seen.
“If he’s been taking drugs then of course it’s right [to sanction] but they still lack the absolute proof as far as I’m aware. I still am a supporter of Armstrong. Whatever way we look at it Lance has been good for the sport. No one can condone, if it’s finally proved, that he’s ridden his whole career on drugs. I had an email from an eminent scientist from the US yesterday. An SMS actually. It said if Lance Armstrong had taken the drugs outlined by USADA he’d have been dead ten years ago. He’s an eminent scientist and a very intelligent man. I don’t know his name, the SMS came from a secondary person."
Here are your choices:
a) Phil Liggett
b) ...let's face it, you already knew it was Ligget...
I really hope this is what finally gets him fired, but if calling Yohann Gene "colored" won't do it, I don't think anything will.
EDIT: To clarify on the fired bit. This is just the latest in a string of incidents where he's shown he's out of touch and biased. The two cardinal sins of being an announcer.

To be fair the commentators from every other country are both those things as well. It is the nature of commentating for an audience from a specific country.
But yeah fire him. He just doesn't know anything about current cyclists. I swear I could do a better job up there half the time.

I've been maintaining that I'd do a better job than him for about four years now...
Fire him for his bias indeed. The man is utterly confused right now too with these contradictory statements, coming up with phantom bribes and now some anonymous scientist.
Ah give poor old Phil a break - he's trying to defend the sport he loves but he sees it very differently. He's still in love with what he thought cycling was many years ago; it's a form of denial. A lot comes tumbling down if he has to admit he was/is wrong about Armstrong et al. He's seemed rather stumbling and rambling in his commentary for a few years now. Read that whole article [here: https://www.cyclin...ter] and it gives a rather sad portrait of someone falling out of love and growing old.
No doubt, he shouldn't really be commentating professionally. That's a fair point.
It was eleven more than necessary. Jacques Anquetil
Liggett again, from '4 Corners' (not sure of the source - this was on CN), showing how confused he is on this issue:
Liggett:
"I'm very sad. What do I think? Everybody else did it, so I find it very difficult not to think that Lance did it"
"I mean I don't know if he is proved to be, to have taken drugs how he can face any of these people [cancer survivors]…how can you call up these people knowing that you've taken drugs all your life, to cheat to seven Tours? It's a problem I wouldn't want."

It should also be pointed out that Liggett on the show used the "Everyone else was doing it... so I think Armstrong's wins are legit" excuse.
Four Courners are always well researched and it was good to see something from the non cycling media (as count has already said) The Betsy stuff was great and the same with the Oz doctor, also the under oath footage from Armstrong and Swart was a sight to be seen. This is a good start and hopefully this case will be the straw that breaks the Camels back and the UCI finally falls, if not a break away cycling league might actually gain traction

Just a little thought.
I saw Wiggins mention that as the current TDF-champion he had to answer question, and it was demanded from him.
What about the current Girochampion? His CV is not looking to good. And as far as i have seen, no one is questioning him. It seems like the general thought is that every former US Postalrider is somewhat connected to this.

The Four Corners episode tonight was very clear, a great summary of the evidence against US Postal (and Armstrong) both scientific and anecdotal.
It should make it's way to youtube, if not. People should go through an Australian proxy to view it. It's good investigative journalism.

In all fairness a lot of riders are connected Postal or not, but have agree that all GT winners this year look a tad *cough* dodge
