Sensational positioning and sprint by Preidler. We take 6th on such a stage, that's for sure. Must admit I'm getting worried we're not featuring in the breakaways. That's the big worry going forward, as that feels like the only way for us to find a stage win in this Tour.
Also very, very cool to see Yates dominate early in this Tour, really rewarding ryant for bringing him here. Congratulations! |

Not a good one but the decisive stages are still to come and these are the stages were Phinney benefits from his sprint stat the most.

These stages are definitely too hard for Grosu, but at least he still hangs on to a good position in the GC to score us some points.

Nice work by Gee, hopefully enough to secure another two or three days leading the KoM. Otherwise an uneventful stage from our perspective, good to see Peak hanging on but suspect Barguil's presence is holding him back from trying to compete in the final sprint on the hilly stages. |

Nice to see Bagioli showing the colors in the KOM sprints. A breakaway appearance would be good.
Surprised how unselective that last stage, even by the standards of this season. but small break made it easy I guess. Yates is the perfect rider for that stage so nice to see him get the win.

Oh c'mon, 4th place again?!
Pogacar just can't get those bonus seconds, can he. Hopefully these missed opportunities won't come back to bite us. At least we're scoring some decent points.

Though as CT Team (not even one of the good ones yet ) I dont particpate at the TdF obviously. But I am super proud at our loan out Rider Dylan Sunderland and how he raced today. I hope he can be a lot of help to his leaders from Amaysim in the upcomming stages too.
Otherwise again we are proud what he did and this may already be one of the highlights for OUR team
Congrats to the winners here also and thanks for the entertaining report.

4th is pretty good from Peak, though for a moment there I thought he might be about to take a surprise stage win. Now to see what Barguil can do, and whether Gee can hang onto the KoM lead for another day... |

My focus is so much on the gc that i read through the entire report, closed it and already forgot who won the stage. Lecuisinier was protected throughout, seems like Kurianov sprinted, so im very much satisfied with the stage.

Nice day for Alexander in the break. Kalaba with another very good sprint but just timed too early today.

Yates at the double!
All in all a very decent first week with 2 stage wins a podium and I think every stage all finishing within the top 10 to boot. We also have yellow and green jerseys with a nice enough lead in the last one in particular. The only annoying thing is Phinney already sitting on 50 pts so we have to hope for another stage win on stage 15 at least I feel along with decent results on the other flat stages left as well to have a chance there as well.
Now onto the mountains! Hopefully Carthy can do well there, the competition will be tough but we still need him to shine.

Sureda is by far my best 50k signing ever. 2nd place is an amazing result for him. Basically matching AKA in GT sprint placings, but with the bonus of being able to ride 2 GT's. Of course, not a top 5 that makes much sense in this deep a field, but at this point I can't feel bad - the AI has taken before when I had better sprinters, and now it's giving. I'm thankful.

It's actually impressive how shit the sprinting can be, though it's not like I'm profiting from it because Rajovic has been mostly anonymous in the 1st week. Only two sprint stages left, so I'm not expecting anything anymore.
Hopefully Pogacar and my other climbers are ready for the mountains!

Thank you for another report and the pace you’re posting them at!
The Grosu watch is definitely painful.
Prasad in 5th and in contention again is a good stage for us. |

Rough to follow these Grosu sprints in action I must admit.

Stage and yellow, gotta take it.
Obviously the gaps need to get bigger if we want to celebrate in Paris but a first step is a first step.

I guess this is where Cattaneo belongs. Will be a tough battle to get in the top ten.

Disappointed we don't care about the breakaway. This is the type of stage where we really should have been up there with any of Preidler, Roman or Van Poucke.
Congratulations on the win, knockout. Good to see PHL prove good on such a stage. Phinney showing a proper fight, though, making this race interesting for the upcoming mountain stages, at the very least! |

PHL takes the first jab! He needs as much time as possible before the TTs to distance Phinney! The fight for the whitejersey also looks like it could be a nailbiter between McNulty and Pogacar!
