Style of reporting very much approved, Ulrich! Feel free to approach TTs like this.
Wonderful day for King Power, congrats Bikex!
Love to see Almeida keeping a good GC position despite not having had any stages suiting his characteristics so far. 10th is rather good for a guy looking to achieve a top20 I guess.

Catching up on the action here. Nesset has done pretty good for himself so far. On the right side of the splits and a decent enough TT. Hopefully he'll continue to race good and also hopefully he sees an opportunity in the second part of the race to go for a stage.
I quite liked this first week for Van der Poel, but he has been a no show. It was always going to be a little gamble to sign him. In the classics it's been decent, but he really has to start showing something if he wants a new contract. Fingers crossed that he can put himself in the break once or twice going forward.
Other than that, also a nice break from Brkic and Trondsen seems to be lurking just outside the top 10 as usual. We aim for the final part of the race for him as well.
Thanks for all the reports so far, Ulrich!

Amezawa sneaking inside the top 100 in the TT is surprising
Enjoyed your way of doing a TT report, UU! Also well done by Bernal to take the first maglia rosa among the GC riders. A new wonderboy seems to be in town, that's for sure. |

Heck of a win there by Yates. The pure determination was awesome to see, especially since we haven't had a lot to cheer about this season...

Kelderman seemed to be a bit too tired to try anything, so sixth in the sprint is decent. Great win for Yates after a strong finale from him, congrats Mre.
Thanks Ulrich for the superb report.

I'm a little afraid that Gayral is already pretty done so we probably should change breakaway tactics soon, but still he does well to hang on to the jersey, I love it! Great reports and attentive rides by Tao so far, I like what I see.

Great stage for us. We didnt get pink on the time trial so we had to use the flat finish to get it. Time to defend it with everything we got!

Yates shows class, being able to go again and again, and finally get away when he got the gap.
For us, I really hope Amezawa is saving his legs for some adventures in the third week, as he seems to have decided to take it easy on these punchy stages, except for one.
Nice to see us continue to be present in breakaways too! We can't ask for more there |

Good and attentive riding by Brkic to take the KoM lead. Hopefully it can give the rest of the team a boost. Thought for a second that Trondsen could get inside the top 10, but another day just outside. More chances to come!

4th best sprinter curse? Grosu, Demare, Groenwagen - would make sense.
Awesome to see Abdul Halil get involved and cash in a 7th here

That was more of a normal result from Dainese, considering his sensational start to this Giro.
Looking a lot forward to see the GC riders have a go at each other now in the mountains, that should make for entertaining reports Lecuisinier the obvious favourite, and sitting already in pink feels dominant. Though, the gaps are still small, meaning it will probably only take one bad day for him to loose pink, or one day with passive racing. |

Indeed, great result for him. Would be great if he can improve for a top 5 somewhere here or in the Vuelta Congratulations beagle and thanks for the consistent reporting to Ulrich.

Good effort from the team. Too bad Grosu couldn't hold on for a little longer.

Not the best of days for us. We had the numbers with 3 of the Top 6 guys at some point in the race, but we didn't play it smart sadly. Tao also looking more time than we hoped for is not good either. Still we were greatly visible which is nice, and against GT break hunting legend Smith and another Greek on steroids you can't do a lot if they are on one of these days.

Good from Brkic to try and defend the jersey, but not a big surprise that it wasn't to be. The best for him is probably to take it a bit easy the nexy days.
Cool to see Nesset trying to get away for a little bit. Probably a good day, as he obviously finished the stage really well and climbed in to the top 10 in the GC. Very good race from him so far.
Congrats to King Power on a great stage win!
