NC's are all set routes, and have been for the last several years. So we all knew exactly the race being voted for. In fact they are in the first post of this very thread, as well as pervious years threads

I just found the route very unselective, and thus uninteresting from a NC point of view also with a slim to no chance for breakaway succes.
I believe I voted for mountain, so it wouldn’t have changed much for me...

Oh, I didn't realize that  Well, then it worked out perfectly for you, not giving Tzortzakis a chance to spoil the sprint. Unless he's a Festina rider, too?

Nice attack by Resell in Norway, just not enough to get away.
Sinkeldam was never gonna win against that competition on flat cobbles, but I was hoping for a podium. Unfortunately it wasn't as selective as I hoped, so he loses in the sprint. Not a big deal since only 1st really matters in NC's anyway.

Bertilsson borderline trolling me at this point. Wins the NC after not doing his main responsibility a single time the whole season. 
Seems extremely unlikely to get 50k in renewals (impossible I think), so like always he'll go to whatever Scandinavian team decides to take a shot on him in FA.

Luke winning the Aus TT Jersey again is good to see but we've struggled to replicate any other success to see, Coppel losing out to Paillot in his last real chance of wearing the Tricolor being probably the worst but Enger sitting on the wheel of the favourite and not even managing to get around him probably typifies where he's at as a sprinter for us.
Still the GBR will offer us a chance of a Jersey still but South Africa will probably remain our best shot with Meintjes

Usually you can't get a driver like this for 50,000.Yes, now it is next to impossible for him to take 50,000 on renewals. |
