Great to see us go in the break and put our mark on the race. I did have a wish that the rider joining the break was Gasper, as we wanted that green jersey. I guess it was not meant to be...

Agggh so close to get bonus seconds there Still, basically won the Points Jersey with that result, so that's great.
Hard to explain why Dunbar can't finish in a 100-rider bunch in a stage like this

Thanks for the reports so far, eyed this stage as a win in planning and we got awfully close!

Ouch, I've been travelling and missing this really interresting race!
Surprised to see 3 in top 25 and us leading the team rankings. Would be a good consolidation for no podiums so far.
However, we're fearing this last stage as we don't have any big climbing names.
Would be nice to be in the breakaway at least
Thank you so much for the reporting! |

Well, at least this is a positive thing for us - so far 3 stage wins in total, which is not too bad. Again fine report by Nemolito.

Vichot almost gave away the KoM jersey today! We are incredibly lucky that Tanovitchii didn't have the legs. But what a stage from Scarponi and Uwizeyimana! Didn't look good at the bottom of the climb, but they clearly were just saving power for the final kilometers. To see them advance through the field and even get a 3rd place in Scarponi's case is great
A stage win, the KoM jersey and two riders inside the top 10 makes this a very successful race for us! Thanks for the reports Nemolito, and congrats to Aquarius!

Nice to see Kudus perform this well. I always liked him a lot - But feel free to keep him untrained in the divisions.

Best way to defend this GC lead! Winning the stage, the Points jersey and making sure there was no fight for the race lead
Iirc, it's the 3rd stage race win in Kudus' career in Repsol (ToME and Eritrea 2018), hopefully he can increase that number during the season
A shame Eddie end up losing to Bernal the U25 jersey, but those weren't points i was counting on before the race, so 2nd place is already a plus
This results gives me some confidence in my planning of Kudus for this season. Now we need some good showing of Vanmarcke in March cobbles and the timetrialists to perform at their level and we'll be well on track for the promotion spots

After the disaster that was the Volta a Portugal, this turns out to be a good result.
Two riders in the Top10 of the GC, a top4 and top2 of the stage in a race with TTT are great for the team. I was starting to have doubts about Montoya signing but he proved in this race that he can be very useful. Bartl also deserves a prominent word, always very active and ending up achieving a brilliant 7th place in the gc.
In the end we ended up getting more than 120pts in 6 race days which helps a lot and our goal of finishing in a safe place on the leaderboard.
Congrats to Aquarius97 for the great win and thanks for the fast and great reports Nemolito

Obviously felt we could have had a better overall result with our amazing TTT ride earlier in this race, Eastman never really felt aggressive in trying to win, but rather only defensive in trying not to lose places, perhaps some misguided judgment in trying to keep Duarte up top as well.
That said, if someone had said Eastman will finish 2nd in this race, I'd have happily taken that result at the start. And felt that we rode a solid race as a team, Kudos to Kudus who seemed to just want the win a bit more.

Unacceptable by Tenorio. Very disappointed with this result. Only good thing is we didn't make this race a team goal this season.
On to the next race... Congrats to the winners and thanks for the reports.

Congrats to Aquarius and thanks for the great reports Nemo.
Great chasing work by Kraftwerk and a strong early showing on the climb from De la Cruz but he paid for it later and only just made the target top 10 in GC.
Kislerlovski missed a top 20 by 2 minutes but still managed some minor points but no other GC points leaves us a bit short on the survival target.

1 stage win and 2nd in the Points Classification - those were the highlights for us in the race. Thank you Nemolito for the 6 great reports.
And now onto our next challenge - the Pro Hallstatt Classic
