Well done by Marquez to get into the Top 10. If he hangs on to this, I'll be happy.

Atapuma with a great podium, advancing to 16th. At least we'll get some sort of points from this race. |

Glad to see Garby finally getting aggressive here! 6th on a high mountain stage is good for the team for sure. Also impressed with how Fabbro held up. Could be some good U25 and minor GC placings from him.

Hm, I definitely believed PCM18 would be kinder to Nerz.

This race is turning out to be way better then I expected, right now two guys in top 20 GC, leading KoM-jersey and last 2nd in U25 and maybe have a shot at taking it! |

Good showing from the Desigual boys. Great to see Tenorio being the aggressor. Would like a 2nd in GC but I don't think Tenorio will be able to make up any more time on the final stage (unless he goes crazy with a long-range assault).

Hopefully Shirota's lost time means he can go full out for the KOM in the final stage. 20th, 21st and 22nd in GC as well as 2nd and 3rd in KOM and Points respectively is not too bad though.

After the horrible race we've had here it feels nice to leave with this consolation prize. It doesn't really correct the point loss we're facing but it's better than nothing.
Thanks for all your work Kentaurus. Beautiful and concise reports, as well as consistent pace. Chapeau!

Petrovski gives it another go, so I can't fault his effort. Who knows where he would've been in the KOM standings, if he went for it on the first 2 mountain stages, but he did just finish 35th to take the last 10 GC pts
Thanks for all the reports Kentaurus, although I've would've loved to see Petrovski wearing his NC jersey, since he won't always be at the head of the race
Congrats to Gustavovskiy on the stage and fjhoekie on the overall victory

Flashback to Middle east where Oomen attacked and lost his youth jersey, glad he was reeled in quickly this time
15th + youth is good enough in this field. All hail Lord Pluchkin and thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A bit disappointing to lose a position on the final stage but 10th in the GC is a fair result for Marquez.
Congrats on the win to fj and thanks for the reports!

Enjoyable race, thank you Kentaurus. Congrats fjhoekie on the win. I'm very happy with 2nd and holding of Tenorio here. I think we benefited from a couple not very selective mountain stages and 1 good day from Amador.

Very happy with Garby's aggression late in the race. We get some good stage results at least. I would have liked Fabbro to stay a bit higher for his U25, but I'll take his performance too. GC was never really an option, so a few good stage results are fine.
Thank you for the great reports!

Couldn't expect much more than what we got. The top 3 riders are in a league apart from ours so being the first of the others was pretty good.
In addition the second place in this last stage serves to compensate for Coutinho's poor performance in the flat stages.
Congratulations to everyone who made good results in this race and thanks for the reports.

Well for not having a strong rider in any category really, its great to get a 9th in GC, stage win, 1st and 3rd in KOM, 4th in Points and 4th in team category. Really couldnt have gone much better.
Thanks for the reports.

Thankfully Nerz managed to get back on and keep his GC placing but 20th wasn't quite as good as I had hoped.
The stage win and 2nd place made up for it.
Congrats to the winners and thanks to Kentaurus for the great reporting.

No idea why Oomen massively outperformed Ranaweera here, I was expecting a close fight between the 2 for the youth jersey but my rider just didn't seem up for it at any point.
At least we got some break appearances to keep it interesting for us even if we didn't get the points paying results we would have expected.
