Great to see attacks in a downhill mountain stage, because i've often struggled to see attacks from the favourites in this kind of stages in PCM18, specially when there has been important stages before

Fairly disappointing from Eg to get dropped so hard here. Looked like acceleration still played a substantial role there to me. At least he AI was better overall.

Hopefully Fabbro can get higher than 10th in the GC. And dissapointing not to see Van Niekerk in a break yet. He has the perfect stats to try! Koumpetsos doing OK though.
No DNF while losing over 1h?

So how about we make l'Avenir give some ranking points?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Someone that's not Pluchkin winning in my jersey? Impossible!
Great ride though, but please, don't win the GC yet... You can do next season...

Well still awful, I wish it was one of our climbers who went in the break

Must say I enjoyed that stage! Some very nice racing, just like the hilly stage to Planche des Belles Filles, where the gaps were small, but I thought that was a good thing, as several riders still had a good shot at a good overall placing.
Would be very cool if Oomen could defend the lead, at least good to see Amezawa and Anderberg safe through that mountain stage, hopefully prepared to go deep for Oomen. |

Kalaba from zero to almost hero in very short time. Per and Kalaba are way too often to the back of the pack, when with the combined flat power the team should ride from the front more often...

Kemboi with the favourite win.
Van der Poel regularly showing his skills as well which is nice to see. Very close on the day earlier and again top sprint by him today.
Carboni with a decent GC stage and hopefully can improve even on the next mountain stage. |

Aw man, so close for some extra points for Cavagna that could've helped in the fight for green. A great sprint from him though regardless, he's very aware this edition requires slipstreaming for as long as possible.
Now for the TT, Ganna has a redemption arc to fulfill and Cavagna doesn't have to prove more, but maybe gets extra power with green in sight.

It really would be pleasant if someone wanted to go in the break and show the jersey a bit!

WCC's 3 youngsters guesting for Festina have basically been anonymous throughout. I guess that their relative lack of development means that they are pack-fodder this go-round. None of them have a development path to becoming world beaters, but we have confidence that Senduku, Dlamini and Martinez have very solid pro careers ahead of them once they reach their full potential .

Yay! Not my rider but very happy for Morne and his success in our colours (which he looks mighty fine in I think...)

Yeah OK, so TT stat is definately more important now than ever. Some riders losing more than 20 minutes here, while Fabbro with -9 stats in TT loses more than 5 minutes. In PCM15 he would probably have lost 2-3min.

We should've pushed harder when we had the momentum, Ayubowan in the best position to win now.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
