I would really like Vingegaard to be changed into a climber rather than puncheur. Also I believe he should be maxing at 78 MO as the biggest Danish climbing prospect.
He also has one of the highest Vo2 maxes ever seen in Danish cycling so you could make an argument for him to be 78 MO with some absolutely fucked up backup stats.

Great job jph!
As for Hänninen I really think he deserves a half-decent TT, say maxing out at 73/74. Several decent TT-results in France last season as well as being former Finnish junior and U23 TT-champ..
It's not his biggest weapon, but he's not losing races there either.

Ok so I'll give this a go:
Matthew Gibson 1996 - Already in the DB but is completely useless, think he can do with a solid upgrade. His results include a couple stage wins, including one recently in the Tour of Qinghai Lake and another stage win in the Tour de l'Avenir. Therefore I think he should become a solid sprinter but obviously far from a top tier one.
ID | Last name | First name | Flat | Mo | Hl | TT | Sta | Res | Rec | Co | Spr | Acc | Fig | Dh | Pro | Team | Division | Country | Continent | XP Level | XP Points | Age | Potential | 5168 | Gibson | Matthew | 56 | 56 | 58 | 65 | 56 | 56 | 63 | 62 | 56 | 62 | 61 | 64 | 60 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 1 | 0 | 22 | 4 | 5168 | Gibson | Matthew | 64 | 56 | 60 | 65 | 63 | 61 | 64 | 60 | 70 | 71 | 61 | 64 | 60 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 1 | 0 | 22 | 4 | 5168 | Gibson | Matthew | 71 | 56 | 61 | 65 | 68 | 62 | 76 | 65 | 77 | 78 | 61 | 65 | 60 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 4 | 100 | 22 | 4 |
All Sprinter training done
Stephen Williams 1996 - Also in the database, but also possible to suggest an upgrade. Showed some decent potential in the U23 scene in 2018. 9th in LBL U23, winning Ronde d'Isard and a solid U23 Giro as well (with a stage win). He seems to be able to climb mountains quite well but his main ability should be as a puncheur, with a decent prologue result as well, maybe he should have ~70 in Prologue. I also changed his pot to pot 4 as well (from 3)
ID | Last name | First name | Flat | Mo | Hl | TT | Sta | Res | Rec | Co | Spr | Acc | Fig | Dh | Pro | Team | Division | Country | Continent | XP Level | XP Points | Age | Potential | 3348 | Williams | Stephen | 57 | 58 | 64 | 64 | 65 | 59 | 61 | 63 | 64 | 64 | 60 | 55 | 59 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 1 | 0 | 22 | 3 | 3348 | Williams | Stephen | 64 | 75 | 78 | 64 | 74 | 70 | 73 | 60 | 65 | 70 | 68 | 61 | 70 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 4 | 100 | 22 | 4 | 3348 | Williams | Stephen | 61 | 72 | 70 | 63 | 67 | 66 | 70 | 60 | 64 | 65 | 63 | 60 | 69 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 1 | 0 | 22 | 4 |
I'd want him to look like that above fully trained using just hills (from exp lvl 1) but then you can possibly train him using Stage Race to get this:
ID | Last name | First name | Flat | Mo | Hl | TT | Sta | Res | Rec | Co | Spr | Acc | Fig | Dh | Pro | Team | Division | Country | Continent | XP Level | XP Points | Age | Potential | 3348 | Williams | Stephen | 62 | 79 | 75 | 70 | 72 | 71 | 77 | 60 | 64 | 66 | 64 | 60 | 76 | Free Agent | - | GBR | EU | 4 | 100 | 22 | 4 |
This is unintended and I think something the hill stage racer training (don't know what that would be) would do nicely here.
Results:
https://www.girodi...tappa-7-2/ won this stage
https://www.girodi...t/tappa-5/ 2nd place here
https://www.ronde-.../#parcours Stages 1 and 2 here of the Ronde d'Isard
Looking forward to people nerfing the last one especially - will look to suggest some more as well

Not being a member of Man-Game, as well as being relatively new to PCM and cycling in general, these may be a bit off, but I have a few suggestions for bringing a large amount of Danish riders up to a level where they might be worth signing.

This is my first time to propose riders for MG, so forgive me if i made mistakes.
Maybe this year is when some hungarian talents stepped up and the hungarian cyclings future is bright (add to this the new hungarian PCT team as roumour and the Giro start as fact).
Peák | Barnabás | 70 | 64 | 69 | 66 | 69 | 68 | 65 | 62 | 71 | 73 | 64 | 67 | 68 | HUN | EU | 1 | 0 | 29 | 1 | 1998 | 5 | Peák | Barnabás | 77 | 64 | 70 | 67 | 72 | 75 | 77 | 62 | 80 | 80 | 64 | 68 | 75 | HUN | EU | 4 | 100 | 29 | 1 | 1998 | 5 |
Barnabás is mainly a sprinter but good at short TTs and have trained with Track-Sprint.
5980 | Pelikan | Janos | 69 | 67 | 68 | 70 | 70 | 66 | 66 | 56 | 61 | 70 | 71 | 63 | 69 | HUN | EU | 2 | 0 | 19 | 4 | 1995 | 4 | 5980 | Pelikan | Janos | 69 | 67 | 68 | 70 | 70 | 66 | 66 | 56 | 68 | 70 | 73 | 63 | 69 | HUN | EU | 1 | 0 | 19 | 4 | 1995 | 5 | 5980 | Pelikan | Janos | 76 | 68 | 71 | 79 | 76 | 73 | 73 | 56 | 68 | 70 | 78 | 64 | 78 | HUN | EU | 4 | 100 | 19 | 4 | 1995 | 5 |
Janos is already in the DB but he can be better than that. Trained with Time Trial.
Szarka | Gergely | 70 | 62 | 66 | 60 | 70 | 68 | 65 | 60 | 71 | 71 | 64 | 65 | 65 | HUN | EU | 1 | 0 | 29 | 1 | 1998 | 4 | Szarka | Gergely | 77 | 62 | 67 | 60 | 75 | 69 | 77 | 65 | 78 | 78 | 64 | 66 | 65 | HUN | EU | 4 | 100 | 29 | 1 | 1998 | 4 |
Gergely is the recent Hungarian RR champion, fun fact he is beated Barnabás, who i think is a lot better then him. Trained as Sprinter.
Valter | Attila | 72 | 71 | 72 | 69 | 69 | 68 | 69 | 63 | 70 | 72 | 64 | 69 | 68 | HUN | EU | 1 | 0 | 12 | 6 | 1998 | 6 | Valter | Attila | 75 | 75 | 81 | 70 | 77 | 72 | 73 | 63 | 73 | 80 | 71 | 72 | 69 | HUN | EU | 1 | 0 | 12 | 6 | 1998 | 6 |
And the possible future star for Hungary is Attila, who is good almost in every terrain, but maybe excells best in the hilly or sprint-hilly races. Trained in Hills.
The another hope is Duna Marton but being in a team, i dont touch him. |

As it has happened quite a lot in this thread.
1998 riders will only be added in excemptions. No need to post too many of them really.
And also riders which have a 2018 team and are neither free agents or not in the DB, won`t get a change. Saw lots of stat suggestions for riders signed already. |

No.
As usual there will be a new excel DB file, where everyone can look for new additions.
(Not that difficult usually with filter and so)
I can already say though that some rider suggestions won`t happen such as Fuglsang or Mollema. They have MG history with those stats and won`t get changed to RL stats. There are other riders such as Guldhammer or Olivier/Goos for those in the MG world. |

Do we get a pre renewals DB with disbanding teams riders becoming free agents and all trainings/declines revealed or is the next DB going to be a Post renewals DB?

Yes, the next DB will be pre-renewals with stat increases/decreases, disbands and new additions.
There might come more additions afterwards if the process isn`t completely finished by then but the main overview will be final. |

I think Vingegaard deserves som different stats than to what have been suggested so far. So this is my take:
5556 | Vingegaard | Jonas | 56 | 61 | 59 | 64 | 58 | 62 | 61 | 58 | 65 | 64 | 57 | 59 | 57 | DEN | EU | 1 | 0 | 10 | 12 | 1996 | 5 | 5556 | Vingegaard | Jonas | 68 | 71 | 69 | 67 | 75 | 75 | 67 | 60 | 66 | 68 | 67 | 68 | 67 | DEN | EU | 2 | 0 | 10 | 12 | 1996 | 5 | 5556 | Vingegaard | Jonas | 68 | 78 | 76 | 68 | 78 | 77 | 75 | 60 | 66 | 74 | 74 | 69 | 68 | DEN | EU | 4 | 100 | 10 | 12 | 1996 | 5 | 5556 | Vingegaard | Jonas | 71 | 74 | 76 | 68 | 82 | 78 | 70 | 60 | 69 | 74 | 71 | 69 | 68 | DEN | EU | 4 | 100 | 10 | 12 | 1996 | 5 | 5556 | Vingegaard | Jonas | 71 | 78 | 73 | 73 | 81 | 79 | 73 | 60 | 66 | 69 | 68 | 69 | 73 | DEN | EU | 4 | 100 | 10 | 12 | 1996 | 5 |

Looked these riders up last week already, one is by now already proposed by Eden but still decided to leave him in.

Mano: Only Thai rider I found worth suggesting, has some decent results in various Asian TT championships and also has proven he can be decent over more challenging terrains. The suggested strength doesn't really display his real abilities, but more my wish of how he'll be added.
Perez: Should be upgraded from the lvl1 rider he is now in the db. Has quite a few decent sprint results, but also shown he has the ability to go over rougher terrain.
Siddikov: Uzbekistan should get some useful additions. Siddikov was 2nd in TT and RR NCs this season. I suggest him as timetrialer, that could potentially also be trained into a decent flandrien rider.
Medvedev: Another Uzbeki. Not really great results, but usually isn't dropped in flat races.
Peng: Rides for a Slovenian CT team, has various decent results including mass sprints, time trials and even a cobbled race. Currently his name is written wrong in the db.
Setiawan: Eden covered him already
Gani: Deserves an upgrade. Last years Indonesian champion in a sprint and also some other top 10s in sprint races.
Suon: Not many results, but wanted to suggest a Cambodian rider.
Chen: Some good results, could be changed to my suggested stats.
Niu: Even if not shown on procyclingstats, he is last years Chinese champion, where he won in a sprint in a mountainous area. Thought it could be interesting to add a rider with the stat combo of climbing and sprinting. |

I won't be home for a week so can't stat him myself if it needs to be done by then, but I haven't seen Kevin Inkelaar mentioned here yet.
Dutch, '97, seems to be a pure climber, at least there are no TT results to his name in the slightest so far.
Best climber in Valle d'Aosta '19 (was already second last year), third overall there was only because a freak stage 1 took him out of contention. Fourth in Alsace just last week.
Maybe a candidate for an Alarcon type?

Others have already been identifying potential stat blocks for the main Colombian contingent of young riders, Bernal, Sosa, Higuita, et al., so I thought I'd cast a wee bit wider net.
First though suggestion of an upgrade to a young Colombian already in the DB (ID # 284) Miguel Eduardo Florez. Assume was added as a place holder (Like Bernal, Higuita, etc.). Now 3rd year at PCT level, and made it round the Giro this season. Numerous good GC results in terms of young rider jersey (top 3 this season in 2.1 Tour of Alps + Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, similarly last season in Burgos , Limousin and San Juan stage races). Suggesting starting at lvl 2 as already 23, and GT under his belt.
Premium Venezuelan riders like Alarcon and Monsalve are hitting 30+, and there is a dearth of MG representation of decent u25 riders from this nation. Of the current crop, Orluis Aular is quite a phenomenon, winning 5(!) stages in a row of the recent Veulta Venezuela, GC, Kom + Pts. Also won a 2.2stage race in Japan, and 2nd in another this season. If he doesn't fall foul of targetted d*pe testing assume should be on WT teams radar IRL. As he is 23 and already has a string of decent results to his name (ranked 250th in UCI rankings on a diet of 2.2 stage races), suggest starting at lvl 2.
The only other young rider of much note in Venezuela appears to be Jesus Villegas, RR NC at 22. Not too many other significant results on file.
Similar story in Brazil, although IRL high quality talent is not in abundance. Previous U23 TT and now senior TT champ is Andre Eduardo Gohr - given SA continent in MG lacks many decent TT riders (and his countryman Nascimento the one recognised TT specialist is already in decline), suggest as potential balance.
Final suggestion (for now at any rate) is Moroccan U23 and senior TT champ El Mehdi Chokri who has ridden for the past 3 seasons for the Dimension Data CT team. Steady results, without too many stand outs (best being stage victory (lone break) and 7th GC in home Tour du Maroc this year (1st young jersey)). Thought might be interesting to suggest a rider who would suit the 'Fabian' training option (although still only domestique level rather than a future star given this dude's results are fairly average). To be honest, no real justification due to his results, a purely fun proposal!.
[NOTE: Just realised Chokri already in DB as ID# 2071 as a place holder]

I would like to get some Portuguese cyclists to be added to the DB, but not being a stats expert I would like to know if anyone could do it for me. I give the names and if anyone can mess up the stats better.
João Rodrigues 15/11/1994
João has evolved over the last few years and this year seems to be emerging for a good career. He just won the Volta a Portugal where he got 2 stage wins, winning at Alto da Torre in the queen stage and also winning the final TT.
In addition this year also won the Volta ao Alentejo and was 9th in Volta ao Algarve.

João Almeida 05/08/1998
Current U23 national champion in both RR and TT, although very young he already has some good results in his record.
LBL U23 winner in 2018, year in which he also finished 2nd in Giro U23, 7th in Tour de l'Avenir and 13th in Grand Prix de Wallonie.
Together with the twins Oliveira is one of the promises of Portuguese cycling

If anyone can help with the stats for both I would appreciate it very much

Have added quite a lot of riders by now as also have done stat decreases and stat gains.
So basically we could start with the renewals now. But 2 more things to do:
1) Remaining 3-4 teams need to send me their stat gain choices
2) Need to make the DB excel ready without all the extra formulas.
While 2) is probably a thing of couple of minutes, 1) really should have happened by now.
Always possible to start with all other teams but it`s just extra work for me to re-arrange it afterwards, so not really a fan of it. |
