Also I'm very surprised Van Avermaet didn't make it. But yeah, it's always tough and many cyclists have to be left out unfortunately.
And I kinda feel the same about past hero's, but it's just difficult to mix them with current/modern cyclists. Because you support someone for a reason, or you cheer for them, and it's difficult to say that about cyclists which were active before your time or before you started watching cycling.
