It wasn't a bad result. Eeckhout was left behind early, and he obviously struggles a lot in the positive gradients, but he dealed with them well to finish 13th, whilst Naesen also rode for a strong 21st place, both racing home.

Amazing performance by your team in East Asia! Especially since it is a C1 race you scored a lot of points, good for you mate!
In 2nd race you at least scored some points, so that's a positive for sure |

Indeed, depth in Java was amazing, if we can replicate it regularly in C2HC it would be a dream situation GB was neutral, I'm still nervous about Eeckhout's actual abilities on the cobbles, and this was the first race where he gave at least some solid indications. Thanks!

Robert Kiserlovski will debut in the C2HC this season and here in Turkey we have big ambitions. The croatian will lead the squad that will target the win, he has shown more than enough this season to argue he can fight for the win, and he will have the support of his lieutenant Ole Hirschlein in here. Carlos Baltazar and José Rujano will also provide a vital role in the climbs, aswell as Bonaventure Uwizeyimana, who as always will target the U25 classification. The Andorran trio of Ivan Vila, Guy Diaz Groiller and Adria Urcelay complete the squad.

Kiserlovski nails first win of the season for the team!
3rd stage of the Tour of Turkey today and one of the most important of the season. After having Kiserlovski racing in C1 for most of the season so far, his debut in the C2HC is being quite successful already, with a win in the Selcuk mountain finish.
After having moved in the middle of the climb with Romain Bardet and Dylan Teuns, it was the latter that threatened the win in the day but the Croatian kept the power and raised his arms in the finishing line. He now stands in 3rd on the overall classification behind Teuns and former leader Blel Kadri.

Kiserlovski is such a beast, can't help but admire his riding.

Tour of Southland Preview
OUR LINEUP
At the same time as the team is killing it in Turkey, here in New Zealand a completely different squad will try to do the same. Now, there is no ultimate lead, it's a very open race that will likely be decided by the initial prologue and the 35Km time trial. For that reason we have a broad TT contingent here as we usually do, Hugues Mottin carries the team's main hopes, and Richard Laningo Laizer and Albert Kireva carry the secondary for a possible GC result. Miguel Afonso, Oscar Cabanas and Masatoshi Oba are also capable of strong rides in the ITT's but the competition is too strong to expect anything from then, except for breakaway presences. Completing the squad are Oliver Naesen and Omer Goldstein who will also look for breakaways and protecting the leaders.

Afonso made it into the day's break
In general it was a great week of racing. The flat stages had no issues on our side, with Miguel Afonso making the break in the final stage but not bringing anything home. What really mattered were the time-trials, where Mottin succeded and accomplished our Top10 goal, with a strong showing in both TT's with Laizer and Kireva also racking up some minor but important points.

Grand Prix du Midi-Libre Preview
OUR LINEUP
In France now for maybe the most antecipated race of the season, one of the most at least. The April opener and after a brilliant month of March where Robert Kiserlovski opened the team's win count, both in stages and GC wise, he's back and with big overall ambitions, as we want to fight for the win here. He'll face big competition but he has shown he is up for the challenge. His main lieutenant will be Larry Warbasse who himself has overall ambitions, albeit smaller. The time-trialing kms suit him perfectly and his only setback is likely having to support Kiserlovski. Carlos Baltazar and Ole Hirschlein have both been riding tremendously this season and we expect no less in here. If in top shape this duo will be able to carry both leaders up the mountains in confort, and if it weren't for the TT's they could also fight for minor GC positions. Hugues Mottin will take the goal of trying to win a stage here, as he has two TT's that suit him very well, as will in a more reduced ambition Richard Laningo Laizer. Adria Urcelay and Albert Kireva complete the squad, they will mainly provide some help in the mountains for as long as possible, as in the flat and hilly terrain.

A constant view this week, Warbasse was a perfect teammate to the Croatian
Fierce accelaration by Kiserlovski, he was set up perfectly by Warbasse once again
He drops Konig and Parra with brute power
And conquers yet another stage this year, and with it the GC win!
After a massive take in Turkey, Robert Kiserlovski was faced with another battle for the overall win. He is showing himself as one of the most successful stage-racers of the season with this win, an absolutely brilliant season in which he keeps adding on massive points and keeps letting us have the dream of promoting alive.
The prologue had a little disapointment with Mottin not having a great ride, and Kiserlovski loosing time to Konig. But after the flat stage also, Konig struggled in the first mountain stage, won by Pinot, in which Kiserlovski rode a not-so-brilliant but still strong climb.
The time-trial was strong getting him behind Brajkovic only, the next two stages set no gaps so it lasted for the last day. Warbasse again rode up the climb setting up for Kiserlovki's move and when he did so he managed to go through Konig and Parra (part of the break), win the stage and gather enough time to take the overall win.
6th in Pico Basille, 6th in Catalunya, 3rd in East Java, and wins at the Tour of Turkey and Midi-Libre are the results he has shown since joining the team. And we are fully excited to keep watching him race as he is set to keep setting some more results like those.

Kiserlovski + Warbasse is an unbeateable combo, another great result in your quest for promotion. I felt like we pushed you all the away with Brajkovic, but Robert seems to always have an extra gear he can go to
At least this time we were able to best Mottin in the TT's

Yes Mottin really is a mistery to me
But yes Brajkovic was hard as nails and he deserved the win as much as Kiserlovski did, hope he still gets it this season!

Coppa Placci time for us. Not any expectations really from here. To start the hills dont suit any of our riders, but the ammount of climbing won't give any more hopes for us as we brought no strong enough climber to take advantage of that. Oliver Naesen should lead the team, José Rujano, Ivan Vila, Guy Diaz Groiller and Oscar Cabanas can climb so we'll hope to see them represented well in the break. Kevin Eeckhout, Masatoshi Oba and Omer Goldstein complete the squad.

As expected we didn't take any role in this race. Goal was to set a rider in the breakaway but there seemed to not even attempt to do it, and like last year (San Marino) a rider won from the break.

I'm really happy that you are having a fantastic season with you duo of great climbers. Hard to know where the team stands in the rankings without a recent update, but if they keeps giving you great results and then riders like Mottin or Eeckhout step up you could in for a promotion challenge. Maybe your downfall will be the lack of any scoring chances in the hills, that it's always really important in all divisions, surely something to change for the 2019 season
Not sure of how many races are left in Kiserlovski's calendar, but he's probably around 400-500 points already, so he might have a chance at surpassing Valls' points from last year

I'm not risking to get that optimistic But it'd be great indeed, can't say it enough how happy I am with Kiserlovski's transfer, just magical for me As for the hills, yeah will be a look out point, will surely have to sacrifice some TT quality in the team for it but I see it's worth it. Cheers!

Lincoln GP
Oliver Naesen really stepping up his game with a strong 12th, completed by an also strong 19th place by Oba.
Naesen coming home 12th in the cobbles
Corsica International
A somewhat vague race, Warbasse only managing a 22nd place up against some fierce competition.
Windhoek ITT
First goal of the season and it couldn't have gone better. With the other time-trialists in Romandie Mottin came here as sole team hope, and after a 2nd and a 3rd place in both TT's he was the fastest and took a very important overall win for the team, much needed for the promotion fight.
Mottin powering his way into yellow
Andorra has it's aero hero, all hail Hugues Mottin!
Chrono d'Arenberg
After an amazing time-trialing prowess in the french cobbles it was the opposite, with them being too much for our riders to handle.
Tour du Faso
Again the cobbles made it a living hell for us, Eeckhout punctured in the first stage and never really had the legs in the final one. Nothing to take from here.
Tour of Eritreia
The 6-day stage-race was another big sucess. The day in the mountains was hard for Kiserlovski who would finish 9th, but the following 2 hilly stages suited his skills, and he managed to move up to 5th on the GC, capitalizing on another trip to the C1 racing.
Giro del Trentino
The race started off perfectly, with an expected strong ride and consequent win in the opening TTT, something we had planned in the begining of the season actually. He defended himself well in the second stage, but faded in the final one. Still he finish an acceptable 8th place, with the stage win a good race for us nonetheless.
Faster than the speed of light! Storming stage win for our squad
Olyimpia's Tour
A race that left a sour taste in our mouth. Mottin was en route for a safe Top15, with Kireva and Laizer on the brink of a near Top20 result when a dreadful day in crosswinds blew out all our GC riders.
1 Jour du Dunkerque
Eeckhout managed a surprise 11th place here for us. Well, it shouldn't be a surprise, but his arch-nemesis gravity always seems to put him out of anything non-pan flat.
