AG2R smashed it down the Col de la Biche, Thomas and Majka crashed and Thomas is out, it came back together though and since then it's been compact.
In the break a lot of attacked and Barguil took the Grand Colombier KOM but it seems to be regrouping now.

German ES just calculated the time cut to be somewhere in the 47 minute region. Demare currently 37 minutes back in the Colombier descent, Kittel 25.

Froome looking very strong. He has 2 teammates. I predict he will drop everyone and he is very good bike handler so descent will suit him. And flat after he can just TT his way. I think he will get 2-3 mins and seal yellow jersey. |
