Says right there first in mountain classification.Yeah probably was first after stage 1 too,but this was without mountain points too.This was the stage i was in breakaway,won with 15 secs ahead of rest of breakaway ,who were 15 secs ahead of peleton,and of course we were set all in same time,but pretty sure I will win whole thing nevertheless.
After examining there are mountain points awarded at the finish of stage 3 ,but this screenshot is after stage 2.
So there is a mountain standing,after stage 2 it was probably like:
mountain standings:
1. Me 0 pts.
2. OtherDude 0 pts
3 YetAnother 0 pts
Teamleader : "grats man, you are first in mountain standings: exceptional !"

That's the stage in real life as well, an 800 metre mountain time trial.
As for the stage looking flat in the profile it's probably you get very little altitude gain in less than a kilometre no matter how steep it is.

Problem/Bug: team role allocation
Explaination of the Problem/Bug: the role of each rider in the team is primarily chosen in accordance to his strength versus the peleton.
In weak teams this causes having a bunch of guys riding as team-mates with no leader riding around like zombies without purpose,just get a bottle.
In strong teams everyone is puncher,sprinter,free element & there are no team-mates and often still no leader.Even in team with the absolute favorite when he's also the fastest sprinter he's assigned sprinter instead of leader.he gets some sprint-trains which are (often) totally useless along the way and only slightly useful at the end.
This causes many more issues,could write a page here.Everyone knows the AI is a disaster & this is a big part of it.And this makes the feature of picking out team-mates in selected race useless too.
There should always be a leader,there should be some team-mates(less when no favorite leader-more when favorite),then the rest should be baroudeur,free element,puncher ,sprinter according to their strength.

no leader,no team-mates,just fake relayers of other teams willing to give breakaway 45 minute lead.Looks good for the breakaway today without the need of wind,hills or large breakaway. |

You know to be honest i'm not sure which are bugs and which are intentional design implementations. you get the distinctive feeling this game has AGAIN?, been rushed out before being finished, and certainly before being properly tested.....the sad and annoying thing is we know theres a potentially absoloute top class game hidden in here, if Cyanide actually cared... |

Totally agree,they might have been lazy,but probably encountered some problems (64 bit engine now maybe?) and yes they have a deadline.
The late testing is a clear indication,there are no variants of stages at all,there not even an intro-movie( not even a nicked one as last year). I put a lot of bugs in this thread,but saw a lot more,just ignoring the less serious ones like graphic-bugs.
Bugs can be very frustrating so we tend to vent,quit or throw stuff ,whatever,but we tend to forget that previous years bugs-design etc was worse.I also notice small improvements like better calendar in office screen(pressing tab);new race strategy display in info screen in race;less riders getting dragged to the back of the peleton cos a tired riders;no "barrage riding" that happened a lot earlier versions always can make trains gives more options in game.etc
Then again ,this thread maybe should have a been a "report what works"-thread,would make it shorter.But the first 4 bugs reported in this thread are fixed by now,and the fifth they say they are working on.
and about the 800 meter stage,it was actually ridden today won by Oscar Gatto! (2 July 2017) |

Problem/bug: Pro Cyclist skin
Explaination of the Problem/Bug: I`m trying too make a dark skin pro cyclist, but when I ride the races his skin tone is white. Anyone know why?

Problem: Signed in to TdF but not taking part
Explanation: I signed in for the Tour de France fairly early. But when I simmed to the start date after US championships, it skipped ahead and didn't let me take part in the Tour.

This, whilst a bug that's been in PCM since... forever, sounds like something you should be helped with.
You may want to try clearing your savegames folder from all the saves you can't use as it could have corrupted your own - yes it can happen, otherwise try to load a weeklysave.

Hi guys. You don't have team time trial bug? When i put max time and max power for my player (my player mode), when its time for him to go down in the group, whole team stops. Only with me? |

Explaination of the Problem/Bug: I'm finishing my first year in pro cyclist. My team mates dont train at all. Their fitness is less tan 70% all over the year. Everyone.
Reproducibility: Always
Edit: in second saison after transfer to new team, team mates in this new team looks ok
