The last stage was a bit of a comedown after stage 4. Konte missing the break means that the KoM jersey was a no hope and it is a shame after his fight over the two stages.

Absolute brilliant teamwork from Manarelli and Drapac, fooling the opposition. Matthews coming away with fourth, a decent GC result and third in the youth ranking makes for a good race. not outstanding, but definitely above-average.
