Tough luck for those that crashed, but I'm happy Abal stayed out of trouble (I'm a little selfish, I need all the help I can get).

Interesting stage, harder than i thought. Horrible results for us, nobody even in top50, Guradini likely too empty to even start sprinting. At least Karnulin stayed aout of trouble, unlike some of his opponents for top15 in GC.
Congrats ember and thanks for the report sgdanny!

Double crash for Dombrowski isn't ideal but he did at least finish at the same time, going down twice can't have helped his chances of injury though.

These crashes are ridicolous. It's like the entire peloton's riding in Rabobank jerseys.

I'm glad most of the team avoided the crashes, and Demare had some good results although I feel he had the potential for more. Maybe stage 7 is something for him again.
Now Nerz needs to be attentive in the next stage.

I can't complain about Gesink moving into the yellow jersey, but with him being the best puncheur in the race by far, I feel like he should have tried to gain some time on his rivals.

Man, if Boeckmans can win this, Demare can win this at 3am...at least Nerz avoided a time loss.
Also I find it rude to call Boeckmans the only sprinter at the front when there's a 80sp guy still around

A 81 sprinter was also present... Great to see Holst Enger able to hold on, but he was most likely empty in the sprint, if not it would have been nice to see him fight for another win. Congratulations, CountArach.
Eventhough it''s nice to see Gesink doing well, it would have been great to see him in 3rd or worse there, as that would have meant a day in yellow for Holst Enger, which would have been fun.
But anyway, bring on the mountains! Should be some great action there |

Decent show from Velits, still riding comfortable and 7th place in a hilly stage is a really decent result. Hopefully he can suprise me with a great result now in mountains. König should be hopefully a great help.

Watch out guys, Boeckmans is going to win the TDF GC.
Seriously though... What?

Bryan Coquard fought the best he could in the end, which is very pleasing to see. Great effort, although he had to let go there. Amazing performance yet again by Boeckmans however, who saw that one coming?! Congrats!
Lecuisinier seemed un-injured, so I guess we are still having a bit of game here. Also he is now in 2nd of the U25 riders behind Sondre Holst Enger. I hope he can keep the better U25 climbers behind him, although that seems very unlikely.
So far a decent race for us.

Boeckmans, what a monster!
Tenorio looked safe all the day, Faiers made some work in front of peloton as required, Keinath tested his legs in final hill when attacked Morton´s group. Good stage for us
And now into the mountains!

Losing 23s on a hilly stage is okay. Could have been worse. That said, Boeckmans won!
So weird to see Keizer being dropped then.
Congrats Count. Nice little race for you so far and now let`s see what Keizer can do in the mountains. Unfortunately without Olivier`s support seeing he is still injured... |

Haha Boeckmans on fire!
Madrazo is still looking sharp, so that's good. Bring on the mountains.

If only the hilly stages would create gaps as big as the mountains

Ouch Madrazo wasn't as strong as I hoped today. He'll need to improve his form quickly to claw his way back the podium. Huge performance by Andy, congrats!
