Quite entertaining stage, but I´m missing any single mention of Roche who was able to create gap on Phinney´s group and finish on nice 6th place.
Trofimov once more dominating, I wouldn´t be surprise to see him surviving mountain finish in yellow

Good day for Tinkoff, congrats Oleg! I'm very happy with Schumacher as well, as I wasn't expecting him to do so well on this stage. Hopefully we can not lose too much time on the mountain stage, because a top 10 would be nice.

Tomorrow's stage will (hopefully) more interesting for Oz.
Swift hardly fails, he makes me hate Goss even more

I can take second podium, though feels a bit annoying that we actually beat swifty on one if the stage sprints that went to break.
Great sprint train once again!

Great to see we are able to build our own train in this CYA lottery, unfortunately not as strong as Swifty has. However I´m satisfied with another podium, congrats to SN.

Disappointing to see Zaini never able to do anything despite being equal HIL to many other riders performing decently. I guess thats the secondary stats coming in to play.

Goss barely delivered while riding for me despite being pretty much the strongest sprinter in the CT at that time.
You should be very happy with what he has achieved for your team

Solid sprinting from Kristoff here, which is very nice to see.
Good to have Bystrøm in another breakaway where he picked up some KoM points, doubt he has the strength to attack again tomorrow, but at least it gives him a chance to get a good placing in that competition, especially if he joins the breakaway tomorrow as well.
Congratulations to SN on a dominant sprint victory. Van der Lijke with an impressive leadout as well. And thanks for the report, Selwink and SN! |

Nice to get another top 10 by Kip and to see my former rider Postlberger in the break. |

Proper Cav-like behaviour by Swifty, only going for it if the win is on the line
Great ride by Gastauer in the hill stage too. Nice to be getting success in the stage performances, when the team has no GC hopes in the lineup.

Thanks everybody, awesome ride by Trofimov, now let's wait and see if he can hold on to the leader's jersey.

Yap, why not? Let's lose 8 minutes by sitting up in the pack. And now we have a disastrous race.

Happy to see Elissonde aggressive. Hopefully he can cling onto a top 20 in the TT now he has some breathing space. |

Was pissed about Dombrowski missing the cut but then Valverde does that. This game is weird.

Nice stagewin. Spilak did all he could here, but Phinney held close, and is probably/possibly going to take the overall win here. I hope Spilak can atleast take 2nd ahead of Trofimov in the GC.
With some luck even Lecuisinier can stay inside top 10 GC after a great performance today, which is really cool. A 33km TT is not to his benefit though with Gesink and Dekker shortly after him, so those are probably going past him, and I guess both Valverde and Henao are too far ahead for him to keep his 8th.
Atleast Preidler and Ellisonde should be no match for him in the TT, so he should be 2nd in the U25 rankings.
3rd in the KOM competition is a nice extra bonus, and hopefully Spilak can stay in top 10 of the points competition aswell. Fingers are crossed for a breakaway taking the majority of the points on next stage
I'm still interested in the Teams Competition btw. Are we leading that?

Weird to see Sella in the break but a 7th place shows that that wasn't a bad idea. Still it wasn't enough to get into the top 10 and with a TT still to come that probably also won't happen. But with Kiserlovski also not too far behind this race is quite a success for us so far. |

Yeah Valverde was the outlier performance there. Still very tight on GC with Machado very much in the mix with the three big guns.
Chamorra produced a nice performance there also.
Flat chance hoping that Dan the Man gives Swift a bit more of a challenge but again a third podium would be nice and shoudl shore up a good points comp finish.

Pretty good from my riders, even though Monsalve couldn't climb into the top 10. Preidler had a really good day and did some great work for him it seems
