That was definitely not what we wanted from that stage. Had hoped Boasson Hagen could at least keep the gap to Van Garderen, loosing a minute means the overall should be safe with Van Garderen. Big congratulations, Mresuperstar!
That also goes to beagle, nice to see the green jersey win something unexpected and not always depend on a this season not so reliable sprint train.
For Boasson Hagen, I hope it was just a bad day and not a sign for what's to come in the classics, as he seemed to ride very passive. At least a GC podium should be safe, which is nice. Unless of course Trofimov has an insane TT in his pocket, but hopefully that won't happen, at least not this time
It´s incredible (and I have mixed feelings despite of this huge win) how one LUCKY stage can change whole race from complete disaster to success for my team. Looks like only Gesink is capable to push Izagirre away from 5th place, which is great.
On the other side, seeing Roche doing constantly nothing is frustrating.
I'm not too disappointed about Bobridge's 13th place overall, but the lack of activity/visibility was truly pathetic. Hardly spotting our shirt/micro in six days of racing and so just some minor points for the not too special GC result.
Missing out on Gautier here is definitely poor from Bobridge

Outstanding victory from Tejay against the top punchuers (and a few top quality climbers) in the division. If he could repeat this type of performance on the spanish hills in the first week of Vuelta I will be over the moon.

Where did Gilbert drag that TT from to get on the stage podium, only 71TT in my db. Maybe the whole dynamics of TT's now different from PCM13 -> 14?, as flat stat is the only way that I can see this makes any sense.
Just caught up with the racing and it wasn't a happy read. Very disappointing ride from the whole team. Ulissi not showing anything beside that one random attack to join the botd. Also a disappointing result from Yatsevich in the time trial. Mancuso atleast got a podium though.
