It's really nice to see Mat Senan on the attack in his first race for the team. getting into the top 10 on this stage is a brilliant result for him.
I'm not sure if he will be able to hold it over the hilly stages or not but it was nice to see him put in a mid stage attack and get a decent stage result out of it.
It's a shame to see Zardini lose so much time as I thought he would be able to hang on better so he could challenge for a top 10 or top 15 GC by moving up on the hilly stages.
Hopefully now all our Punchers have lost a lot of time we'll be able to place one of the stronger ones in the break for the upcoming hilly stages and be given the freedom of being along way down on GC to fight for the stage win that way.

This race has now Kwiat name's written all over it.
As it is now, with a top 15 from Nazaret I would be much more than happy...
Congratulations Miguel, a nice result after Táchira "disapointment" and thanks tsmoha

Well this stage went more or less as expected, but even though it makes much difference did not expect to see a cyclist with 76MO lose more than 20 min.
Now I hope one more victory for Kupfernagel and good results from Vakoc, in the hill of stages

Congrats Miguel, happy to see Rujano doing well for you!
Kratochvila did quite decently, hopefully he will try to go in a breakaway now.

Prime position for Kwiatek now, that was really impressive.
Must've been -3 days or worse for Berhane and VDB, but those hilly stages look like they can produce big enough gaps for them to salvage something from this.

Count will be happy to have the 2015 Beltran in his team it seems.
2nd win for De Clerq already and also VdB improved. |

That was close... Kwiatkowski should be able to make up those 16 seconds on the final hilly stage which looks much tougher, but I would rather he was defending than having to attack.
Great ride from Kamzong as well to get 4th. Samwel losing time is a shame, but I won't care if Kwiatek wins. Thanks for the report tsmoha. |

Mat Senan dropping off was to be expected, now he's slipped to 15th I hope that will free up the team to go for a break as they won't feel they have to defend a top 10 GC place any more. we could do with a good result from the last hilly stage to get our season off to a decent start.

I am not happy for Vakoc, but on the other hand I'm glad to see my team attacking, and by the 7th place in the stage.
Now it takes a good stage from Kupfernagel to secure the points jersey.

Valls holding onto that Top 5 but not by much, he's going to have to work harder!
Izagirre with a very nice 2nd there which moves him well up the GC and well up in the KOM. We've also taken the lead in the Teams Classification

The harder hilly stage is out of the way and Iglinskiy is looking great in 5th, battling really well.
Pressure is off Castaneda though it would be nice, and just, to see a lead-out by Bonsucro on stage 5. |

Getting my butt kicked in PT and now also in PCT. Nice Edet and Hivert are desperately trying to make something out of nothing, but so far to no avail. |

Great stuff by Chaves in stage 3, must have had good legs that day to make the top 10. Not so great on stage 4 given he is one of the best puncheurs on the start list, but holding on to top 10 GC. Good backing up by Ardila Cano, Agudelo struggled badly in the hills though after a decent day on the mountain. Good racing all round thus far, hope maintains through all 6 stages.
Thanks for reports Roturn.

Yep Already De Clerq has more wins than my whole team last season and it is the start of February.
Great riding from Van den Broeck, and good to see that his Hill stat is coming in handy. I hope that carries through into the rest of the season. Also the final stage of this race.

All Puma riders combined will probably join less successful breaks all season long than De Clerq did in only two stage races, let alone win those stages.
