Anthony Lavoine | 2015 Schedule
Nat. | Race | Date | Role | RD's | AUS | Tour Down Under | 14/1 - 19/1 | Sprinter | 6 | BLR | Zimnyanya GP | 1/4 | Sprinter | 2 | MAY | Tour de Langkawi | 19/4 - 28/4 | Sprinter | 8 | GER | Rund um den Escborn - Frankfurt | 1/5 | Sprinter | 2 | SQ | Tour of Scotland | 18/5 - 23/5 | Sprinter | 5 | MEX | Circulo de Juarez | 4/6 - 8/6 | Sprinter | 5 | IS | Tour of Iceland | 9/6 - 12/6 | Sprinter | 4 | FIN | Hanko Classic | 22/6 | Sprinter | 2 | GAB | La Tropicale Amissa Bongo | 8/7 - 13/7 | Sprinter | 6 | IND | Tour of East Java | 19/7 - 20/7 | Sprinter | 2 | AUS | Herald Sun Tour | 1/9 - 5/9 | Sprinter | 5 | BFA | Tour du Faso | 4/10 - 6/10 | Sprinter | 3 | 53/54 |
Anthony Lavoine is the rider with the least RD's available on our team and we felt like giving him a schedule, where he could go for stage wins when necessary and on the same time feel comfortable in stage races. Mathieu Drujon is his helper in many races, however whenever Lavoine doesn't go, Drujon will be there to replace him.
Many predict him to be one of Top 5 sprinters in the CT division and with his past in mind, which also includes beating guys like Lo Cicero, which price tag is quite bigger. His season will start in the Tour Down Under and reports suggest, that he should be happy with some Top 10's. Tour de Langkawi might fill a lot in his schedule, but if we're lucky we have 8 possible stage wins here.
Races like Scotland, Iceland and Faso will be a mixed experience and he should be able to compete for stage wins here as well. However main races like Circulo de Juarez, Herald Sun Tour and Hanko Classic is just up his alley. So there are a few races he can take the GC in and missing Top 10 in every sprinter stage is only real bad result.
Comments Section
aidan Yeah, I guess and seems like it was the safest option
Silvio Mendes is quite better overall, but as said Lejman got more RD's

[C1] Tour Down Under, Stage 4 Review
Kamil Zielinski is back after year long break
The sweet taste of victory is very limited to most teams and in the fourth stage, our team already got to taste that flavor, just before any other CT team in the horizon. Kamil Zielinski left the professional scene for personal issues, but decided to return and help with our project. Now he has just accomplished his first C1 race victory ever and this happens pretty early into his comeback.
Today he joined today's break
Watson
Jensen
Zielinski
Jelfs
Smirnovs
Things got very intense in the end, with a pack pushing from behind
Zielinski had saved lots of energy, as he knew he could win in a sprint
We all know what happened...

Indeed nice win. Enjoyed reporting it even though it was a weird one.
Back then I also had my first ever stage win in my debut stage race, which was really nice.
@Schleck-Fan: Just give it a try next time. Might be quicker than usually. |

Congratz on your first win!
Not only that you gained much more points from it than I did in Cuba, but it was also done in style.

What a race for you. Normally it hurts point wise to go to c1 races when you are a ct one but you are very lucky with Down Under.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

[C1] Tour Down Under, Stage 5 Review
Brice Feillu takes the double stage victory in two days
Brice Feillu was signed because of his ability to support in both hills and mountains, this time he had a great challenge, to get a win on the famous Willunga climb. This is the key stage for the overall in Tour Down Under, but for us it was an opportunity to take yet another stage win.
Victors on this climb isn't the softest people in the pack and you gotta have talent to win here. Feillu possesses the element of surprise in every race he participates in and this has been in his favour today. One thing is to fight for KoM points, another thing is to keep even strong guys like di Maggio away and keep a strong pace intact
It starts with a break again
Busche
Weening
Dyachenko
Feillu
Chiarello
Feillu and the break entered the Willunga climb with a small gap
Busche had taken his chance, but Feillu counters
Feillu keeps di Maggio behind him and even matched his pace on Willunga

1 | Brice Feillu | Fablok - Dunlop | 3h29'21 | 2 | Matthew Busche | AMEX-Navigon | + 19 | 3 | Cesare Di Maggio | Team Vontobel | + 30 | 4 | Aleksandr Dyachenko | Compal-Merida | s.t. | 5 | William Chiarello | Karcher-Adira | s.t. | 6 | Carlos Betancourt | Buff - Polska | s.t. | 7 | Travis Meyer | Risa - Ergon | s.t. | 8 | Nathan Haas | Risa - Ergon | s.t. | 9 | Jonathan McEvoy | Karcher-Adira | s.t. | 10 | Pieter Weening | Gazelle | s.t. |
