FDog applied on day3 on the site. Scorchio was almost brand new last year. Same for DD... Basically new people to the site have some serious pedigree to match up to as well as as much chance as anyone esle to get in
(i used as a bit too much in that final scentence)

Yip, I think I had about 10 posts when I applied (had been lurking for a few months around the MG and reading up on history so had tried to become well versed in what goes on and what would be required). Probably don't have many more than about 10-20 additional posts outside the MG on the site since either! So although pedigree on the forum can obviously be a plus point, the power of the application appears to be the over-riding factor as like this season there were many more applicants than places available.
Good luck to all the new applicants. This also means the class of 2014 will soon no longer be the noobs, and can take on veteran status! .

Not that new actually. In 2004/2005 CrueTrue and I ran the #1 Cycling Manager downloads site cym4.com, which I guess you could consider the predecessor to PCM.daily. https://web.archi....cym4.com/
Didn't really post here until I joined the MG though, so guess I was indeed new in a way.
Anyway, it is true: the quality of your application is more important than your post count.

Or you can always just be like me and don't apply, but instead get asked
I see lots of applicants, awesome, can't wait to see who get accepted.

Ok. I'm interested in your management game. I'd like take one of the CT teams if it's possible.

The quality of my apply was insurmountable! It probably won't be enough to copy my message to get in this time, new applicants though.
But seriously, I wish a good luck to all applicants, looking forward to see who gets in!

COOL!!! You wouldn´t have big chances this year, I guess, would you? Btw. my application was maybe about one or two sentences longer one (or two?) season(s) later. Time is changing...

I remember when I applied, I think I had 7 posts :-p I had however sent a message to SN quiet some time before asking about the mangame, I guess that helped me. (Also not being annoying might've helped, I waited with being annoying til later)

Well you joined in the last season when all you had to do was say you want in and not send any sort of application.
Plus, you joined after the transfers and took over a team who already had 2 managerial changes during that off-season

I agree totally it's wrong to assume, that a guy with most posts have the highest chance, as it only gives the person an advantage of already knowing some of the other active members.
I just hope that the right ones will be included and I've been assured that this is mostly the case I really hope I will get accepted and nice to see many applying, which is making sure the right ones get in

It is always good to already be active on the site, but it is not a given. If you are also a nice guy, write a good application where you show that you have a good plan and seem to have the potential to be a good managers your chanses are good ;-)

Perfectly said. To add to that, you'd much rather be new to the site but write a good application than be an established member on the site but nobody really thinks big of you, even with a good application.

I think I didn't answer the second question properly and I changed my mind about it anyway, am I allowed to resend that part of my application?

It's fine to send in more application information, yes. And it is also fine for those who get accepted to the game to change their mind from what they initially put in answer to question 2.
To be honest though, I'd say that you did answer the question properly the first time round.

Ok, I guess I can just be more specific now though, but if it doesn't really matter..
