Very impressive win by Beltran. He will be a very cool rider once fully developped. But being able to win at this level already is nice. 77/77 MO/HI combination next season (If trained like that), he should be a pretty handy C1 and HC rider, and after that, he should be able to do decent things in the PT.

Really is a great route, this one, plenty of action. Don't know how those time gaps got so big so quick though, at the end......
After we have had such a an active tour it is really hard to believe we only sit in 10th and 11th in GC. Going to need a special final stage that's for sure, could definitely happen for us though with Godoy riding away from the Mendes group like that.
As for Nutresa .... boy do they get all the breaks. |

Hmm. With Geschke staying in the pack my hopes for a Top 5 GC position is mostly buried but he's still in the top 10. I hope that he can at least defend this or perhaps climb up one or two places.
Defending his position is especially important for us since all of the riders close behind him are promotion candidates and if we still want to reach those positions then every place defended is worth double!
But at least this race will give us some points no matter how it ends due to Geschkes stage results and a hopefully decent GC which was important as we had a horrible last month.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Guess it was just one of those moments, where the chasing bunch would stop working together for a few seconds. Not sure though, it might have just been a strong attack Been a while since i played this, so i can't recall the whole action (or non-action) 100% correctly..

Great to see that Sayar finally tried something. But imo 18th in GC is still below expectations, so I expect him to attack in the final stage.
Btw what happened to Ito, I can't find him on the results sheet of this stage and I just checked he is also missing on the previous stage. Did he crash? |

Ah well at least Rubiano tried and got in the break, can't ask for much more I suppose although some points would be nice
Gratz to Nutresa and Beltran for a great win, always nice to see our fellow Colombians doing well

If he did, I would have had to report on it. I'm sorry to say, but i might just have missed it then. Will check my files to clarify. Sorry again and thanks for the hint!

Schurter finally decided to do something in this race moving up to third on GC is great, though I doubt he'll be able to improve as I don't think he'll be allowed to attack like that again on the next stage, I just hope he can follow any dangerous moves to keep his position.

This has been happening way too often this season, Mendes happily letting everyone else attack away. For whatever reason, it always seems to happen in goal races too.
Still only 1 minute off 5th, so he NEEDS to do some attacking tomorrow....

Will do my usual little interest-testing game here:
If there's three people responding to this, i will post the final stage already tonight

Wouldn't mind seeing another stage today.
Can Bonsucro win the first and last stages in Poland? |

This was the one goal I was SURE I could achieve. Mendes didn't even put up a fight though....

Did Firsanov crash or so? Didn't do a thing for the entire race! At least Bakhin showed some activity and Popov 20th GC

Ito did indeed not finish stage 5 here, but I'm sorry to tell you, that I apparently totally missed this Must have been an injury then, so either a crash that I didn't notice for some reason or one of those "hidden" injuries that happen sometimes (iirc). Sorry, should have noticed this before!

Yap, not much to add here. Mendes was truly disappointing this time. No serious attempts and therefore a kinda "deserved" low GC result. Pretty sure, he will bounce back though!

Didn't notice any thing there, but it's more likely that he was just one of those GC-contenders, who didn't do anything special here. Just like Mendes, for example.

Fernandez a little disappointing throughout the race and 11th in the GC isn't too bad I guess. Nice consolation with Rafael Infantino winning the KOM by a good margin. Showing the good attacking spirit of the Orange.

Thanks for reporting this tsmoha, doing a great job, as always!
Besides a stage win (which I am kind of pleased about ) we haven't done much else, Richardson finished 19th overall but the rest of the team didnt do a thing, not even attack once :/

Nice last stage for our team. I could really need that few points more as my team really needed a reaction now.
