if you come's 6th or 5th on flat stages you lose about 20 points in the green jersey competition to the stage winner.
Yes, but I doubt sprint stages will have allways the same winner. Plus, Sagan should get some points in stages where other sprinters won't be able to, and even in breakaways. In the end, he should be getting the green jersey again

Sagan has become a Jack of all trades, master of none. Good at everything but not great.
Master of none? He is the master of the green colour, winning point jerseys in more than half of stage races he ever entered. This year at Tirreno, California and Switzerland. He is a valuable point scorer in every fantasy game thanks to that and that is what i am discussing here, not that he is faster than Kittel.

My team now:
Froome
Talansky
Bardet
Pinot
Kittel
Vanmarcke
Riblon
Atapuma
Frank
The last 3 are a big question mark still though, thinking of swapping them. |

Again, teams without Sagan. People never learn.
I think that this Tour isn't made for Peter. Stages 1-7 are for sprinters and Peter can't beat pure sprinters. When I look at whole Tour I guess that Peter can win in stages 9, 11, 12 and maybe 16 which aren't so much for 18 points. Some of these stages wins breakaway...
If they give Sagan for 8 or 6 I pick him for 18 better take pure sprinter I think.
I would say that there are ideal stages for Peter in tour, even stages 1-7 you listed, there is one cobbled stage and one rolling stage, where he should be top favourite.
To be honest, i have both Kittel and Sagan, so no problem for me. I just made that remark people never learn, because of every year since 2012, you cant win fantasy classics or Tour without Sagan in lineup. Green jersey and shitload of top5 placements are very valuable.
I had him in last years but this year I thnik Vuelta should be better for him. We will see. If Peter beats Viviani and others I will not be even mad. |

My likely final team:
Froome
Van Garderen
Pinot
Frank
Kittel
Kwiatkowski
Cancellara
Modolo
Vansummeren
Vansummeren is the most likely one to get swapped out.

That would be really bad for Peter, to be beaten by his own lead-out man.

I feel like we've exhausted every Didi picture by now, so it's pretty useless.

In. Building on Dauphine form. Hoping Tour de Suisse was an anomaly.

It isn't that we haven't used every Didi picture, I'm sure I've seen just about all of them over the past few years I've been active here. But it is tradition. New people join every year, and they haven't seen them all yet. Plus there are new pictures from the last year. It's not like I'm asking anyone to break their back on this, it takes all of about 15 seconds to google Didi and get a picture.
